Description
Claims (15)
- 上面の開口と、当該上面の開口を取り囲んで規定するエッジと、ノッチとを備えた一体成形のハウジングと、
前記上面の開口に従った大きさ及び形状を有するディスプレイ・モジュールと
を備え、
前記ディスプレイ・モジュールは、
ビジュアル・コンテンツを提示するための、ディスプレイ・パネル、及びそれに取り付けられた関連するディスプレイ回路と、
ディスプレイ・パネル・ハウジングであって、前記ディスプレイ・パネルと当該ディスプレイ・パネル・ハウジングとをともに固定する一以上のブラケットを備えた、ディスプレイ・パネル・ハウジングと、
前記ディスプレイ・パネル・ハウジングを支持するフレームと、
複数の圧縮可能な取付クリップと
を備え、
組み立てられた構成において、前記ディスプレイ・パネルに取り付けられた前記ディスプレイ回路が、前記フレームからつり下げられ、前記一体成形のハウジングの内部に収まるように、前記ディスプレイ・モジュールは前記上面の開口の中に設けられ、
前記圧縮可能な取付クリップの少なくとも一つは、前記ノッチの中へ伸長する先端部と、前記フレームの下で伸長して当該フレームを圧縮する部分とを備える
ことを特徴とするポータブル計算装置。 - 前記複数の圧縮可能な取付クリップは前記フレームの周縁に分布し、前記ディスプレイ・モジュールを前記フレームに固定するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 組み立て作業において、前記少なくとも一つの圧縮可能な取付クリップが圧縮して、当該圧縮した取付クリップの前記先端部が前記一体成形のハウジングのエッジを通過することができるように、前記ディスプレイ・モジュールを前記上面の開口の中に挿入することにより、前記ディスプレイ・モジュールは前記一体成形のハウジングに固定され、さらなる挿入に応じて、前記圧縮した取付クリップは、前記エッジの下で外側に向けて、前記一体成形のハウジングの前記ノッチの中へ、前記先端部に力を加えるように、伸長することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記ディスプレイ・モジュールは、前記伸長した取付クリップを順に破損することにより、前記一体成形のハウジングから分離されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記ディスプレイ・モジュールは、前記一体成形のハウジングに完全に固定される前に、機能試験が行われて、完全に機能的であるとみなされることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記ディスプレイ・モジュールは、前記フレームが前記一体成形のハウジングの開口に近接する領域において、さらなる構造的支持および補強を提供するために用いられる複数のインサートをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 組み立てられた構成において、前記エッジおよび前記フレームと接触するシールであって、前記ポータブル計算装置の内部に汚染物が侵入することを防ぐシールをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記一体成形のハウジングの前記開口は、タブレット・コンピュータに機能を実行させる機構の位置に対応することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記機能は作動させるべき消音機能であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記機能は音量制御を可能にすることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記一体成形のハウジングの前記開口はマルチ・ピン・コネクタに対することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記複数のインサートの少なくとも一つはポリマーから形成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記複数のインサートの少なくとも一つは金属から形成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- 前記複数のインサートの少なくとも一つは前記フレームの定位置に機械的にはめ込まれることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のポータブル計算装置。
- フレーム材料を備えた前記フレームとインサート材料を備えた前記複数のインサートの少なくとも一つとを備える統合アセンブリを形成するために、前記複数のインサートの少なくとも一つをプラスチック成形ツールへ搭載し、
前記統合アセンブリを形成し、
前記複数のインサートの少なくとも一つを前記フレームへ接合するために、前記統合アセンブリの外側にプラスチックの追加の層を適用するために用いられる、外側被覆ツールへ前記統合アセンブリを搭載し、
追加の前記プラスチックが追加されたときに、前記インサートの材料と、前記フレームの材料との間の接着を改善するために、前記複数のインサートの少なくとも一つに多数の開口を形成する
ことにより、前記複数のインサートの少なくとも一つはプラスチックの前記フレーム統合されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のポータブル計算装置。
