Claims (7)
- シャフトを回転可能に支持するスリーブと、
前記シャフトの端部に設けられ、前記スリーブと対向するように設けられるローターケースと
を含み、
前記スリーブは、前記ローターケースとの対向面に挿入溝が備えられ、
前記ローターケースは、前記挿入溝に挿入配置される突出壁部を備え、
前記シャフトの回転時に動圧が発生するように充填される潤滑流体は、前記突出壁部と前記挿入溝とによって形成される間隙で空気との界面を形成し、
前記潤滑流体と前記空気との界面は、前記突出壁部の外部面と前記挿入溝とによって形成される間隙に配置されることを特徴とするスピンドルモーター。 - 前記ローターケースは、前記突出壁部の回転半径方向外側に潤滑流体の飛散を防止するための飛散防止部をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスピンドルモーター。
- 前記飛散防止部は、前記ローターケースから回転軸方向下側に延長形成される突起で構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のスピンドルモーター。
- 前記スリーブの前記ローターケースとの対向面には、前記ローターケースの底面との間に間隙を形成する対向面と、前記対向面と段差を有して前記ローターケースの底面と離隔配置される離隔面とを備え、
前記挿入溝は前記対向面と前記離隔面との間に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載のスピンドルモーター。 - 前記挿入溝の両側面は、前記ローターケースとの対向する側ほど前記突出壁部との間隙が広くなるように傾斜して形成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のスピンドルモーター。
- 前記スリーブはベース部材に形成されるスリーブハウジングに固定設置され、前記挿入溝は前記スリーブハウジングの回転半径方向内側に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1から5の何れか1項に記載のスピンドルモーター。
- 前記スリーブの前記ローターケースとの対向しない端部に設けられ、潤滑流体の漏出を防止するためのカバープレートをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から6の何れか1項に記載のスピンドルモーター。
