Claims (2)
- 平板状の第1のガラス基板と、前記第1のガラス基板の一表面側で前記第1のガラス基板に対向する平板状の第2のガラス基板と、前記第1のガラス基板と前記第2のガラス基板とを接合し前記第1のガラス基板と前記第2のガラス基板との距離を所定ギャップ長に保つ枠状の接合部と、前記第1のガラス基板と前記第2のガラス基板と前記接合部とで構成されるパッケージに収納された有機EL素子ユニットとを備え、前記接合部は、導電性材料を用いて形成され前記所定ギャップ長に対応する直径の球状のスペーサが混合された低融点ガラスからなり、前記スペーサは、前記導電性材料により形成された球状のコアと、無機材料により形成され前記コアの表面を被覆した絶縁膜とで構成されてなることを特徴とする発光装置。
- 前記有機EL素子ユニットは、厚み方向に離間した一対の電極間に発光層を有する有機EL素子および前記有機EL素子の前記各電極それぞれに電気的に接続された配線層が透明なプラスチックフィルムの一表面側に形成されてなり、前記有機EL素子ユニットの前記プラスチックフィルムの前記他表面側には、前記有機EL素子から放射された光の前記他表面での反射を抑制する凹凸構造部が設けられ、前記凹凸構造部の表面と前記第1のガラス基板との間に空間が存在することを特徴とする請求項1記載の発光装置。
