Claims (6)
- 回生制動および液圧制動が可能な車両用ブレーキ装置であって、
シリンダ本体と、そのシリンダ本体内に摺動可能に嵌合されてシリンダ本体との間に液圧室を区画するピストンと、そのピストンを後退方向に付勢するリターンスプリングと、電動モータと、その電動モータの回転軸にギヤを介して連動して前記ピストンを前進駆動し得るボールねじ機構とを有していて、該ピストンの前進により前記液圧室で液圧制動のためのブレーキ液圧を発生するスレーブシリンダよりなる電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置を備え、更に回生制動から液圧制動へ切り替える制御手段を備えるものにおいて、
前記電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、前記液圧室において前記ブレーキ液圧を発生しない、前記シリンダ本体内における前記ピストンのストロークに相当する無効ストロークを有しており、
前記制御手段が回生制動から前記電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置による液圧制動への切り替えを実行する際には前記無効ストロークが消滅しているように、前記切り替えを実行する前に、前記電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置を作動させて前記無効ストローク分だけ前記シリンダ本体内で前記ピストンを移動させることにより液圧制動における前記無効ストロークを消滅させ、次いで前記制御手段が前記切り替えを実行する際には前記電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置を作動させた後、その電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置が直ちにブレーキ液圧を発生することを特徴とする車両用ブレーキ装置。 - 液圧制動に回生制動を協調させる回生協調制御の初期において回生制動のみ実行するよう構成され、回生制動の実行中であることが検知された場合に前記電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置を不作動状態から作動状態へ切り替えて液圧を発生させ、前記無効ストロークを消滅させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置。
- 回生制動の実行中に車速が、回生制動から液圧制動に切り替える閾値である持ち替え開始車速よりも大きい所定の持ち替え準備開始車速未満になったことが検知された場合に前記無効ストロークを消滅させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置。
- 前記電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、電動モータに一定の電流を供給することで前記無効ストロークを消滅させることを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置。
- 前記電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、電動モータの作動量が所定値に達するまで該電動モータに供給する電流を漸増することで前記無効ストロークを消滅させることを特徴とする、請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置。
- 前記電気的ブレーキ液圧発生装置は、前記電動モータの作動に伴うブレーキ液圧の変動に基づいて、前記無効ストロークを消滅させるために必要な前記電動モータ作動量を決定することを特徴とする、請求項4または請求項5に記載の車両用ブレーキ装置。
