(ポリオレフィン製造システム)
図1に第1実施形態に係るポリオレフィン製造システム100Aを示す。この製造システム100Aは、オレフィン事前重合反応装置5と、このオレフィン事前重合反応装置5の後段に接続されたオレフィン重合反応装置10Aとを備える。
オレフィン事前重合反応装置5は、オレフィン重合用触媒の存在下でオレフィンを重合させてポリオレフィン粒子を形成する。
オレフィン重合反応装置10Aは、オレフィン事前重合反応装置5によって生成したポリオレフィン粒子に対して、実質的に気相状態でオレフィン重合反応を行わせる装置である。
続いて、本実施形態に係る製造システム100Aにおける、オレフィン、ポリオレフィン、触媒等について詳しく説明する。
(1)液状のマグネシウム化合物、あるいはマグネシウム化合物及び電子供与体からなる錯化合物を析出化剤と反応させたのち、チタン化合物、あるいはチタン化合物及び電子供与体で処理する方法。
(2)固体のマグネシウム化合物、あるいは固体のマグネシウム化合物及び電子供与体からなる錯化合物をチタン化合物、あるいはチタン化合物及び電子供与体で処理する方法。
(3)液状のマグネシウム化合物と、液状チタン化合物とを、電子供与体の存在下で反応させて固体状のチタン複合体を析出させる方法。
(4)(1)、(2)あるいは(3)で得られた反応生成物をチタン化合物、あるいは電子供与体及びチタン化合物でさらに処理する方法。
(5)Si−O結合を有する有機ケイ素化合物の共存下アルコキシチタン化合物をグリニャール試薬等の有機マグネシウム化合物で還元して得られる固体生成物を、エステル化合物、エーテル化合物及び四塩化チタンで処理する方法。
(6)有機ケイ素化合物又は有機ケイ素化合物及びエステル化合物の存在下、チタン化合物を有機マグネシウム化合物で還元して得られる固体生成物を、エーテル化合物と四塩化チタンの混合物、次いで有機酸ハライド化合物の順で加えて処理したのち、該処理固体をエーテル化合物と四塩化チタンの混合物もしくはエーテル化合物と四塩化チタンとエステル化合物の混合物で処理する方法。
(7)金属酸化物、ジヒドロカルビルマグネシウム及びハロゲン含有アルコ−ルとの接触反応物をハロゲン化剤で処理した後あるいは処理せずに電子供与体及びチタン化合物と接触する方法。
(8)有機酸のマグネシウム塩、アルコキシマグネシウムなどのマグネシウム化合物をハロゲン化剤で処理した後あるいは処理せずに電子供与体及びチタン化合物と接触する方法。
(9)(1)〜(8)で得られる化合物を、ハロゲン、ハロゲン化合物又は芳香族炭化水素のいずれかで処理する方法。

R5R6Al−O−AlR7R8(R4〜R8は炭素数が1〜8個の炭化水素基を、Yはハロゲン原子、水素又はアルコキシ基を表す。R4〜R8はそれぞれ同一であっても異なっていてもよい。また、mは2≦m≦3で表される数である。)
(式中、R11〜R14は炭素数1〜20の線状又は分岐状のアルキル基、脂環式炭化水素基、アリール基、又はアラルキル基であり、R11又はR12は水素原子であってもよい。)で表されるジエーテル化合物があげられる。具体例としては、ジブチルエーテル、ジアミルエーテル、2,2−ジイソブチル−1,3−ジメトキシプロパン、2,2−ジシクロペンチル−1,3−ジメトキシプロパン等をあげることができる。
LxM(式中、Mは遷移金属を表す。xは遷移金属Mの原子価を満足する数を表す。Lは遷移金属に配位する配位子であり、Lのうち少なくとも一つはシクロペンタジエニル骨格を有する配位子である。)
式中、dPは粒径を、ρSは粒子の密度を、ρGは反応領域の圧力・温度条件下におけるガスの密度を、ρAIRは室温条件下における空気の密度を、LSは噴流層高さを、それぞれ示す。
式中、utは粒子の終末速度を、umfは最小流動化速度を、それぞれ示す。
第2実施形態に係るポリオレフィン製造システム100Bは、単段の噴流層8が形成されるオレフィン重合反応装置10Aの代わりに、多段の噴流層8が形成されるオレフィン重合反応装置10Bを採用することの他は、第1実施形態に係るポリオレフィン製造システム100Aと同様の構成を有する。以下、第2実施形態について説明するが、上記第1実施形態と相違する点について主に説明する。

円筒(高さ1100mm)内に単段の噴流層を形成できる透明塩化ビニル樹脂製の円筒コールドモデル装置を準備した。この装置は、ガス導入オリフィスを有する逆円錐形状の筒状バッフルと円錐形状のそらせ板とからなる組み合わせ1組が円筒内に配置されている。この円筒は、上端が閉鎖板で閉鎖されており、上部には複数のガス排出孔が形成され、このガス排出孔から側方にガスを排出できるようになっている。より具体的には、円筒は、上端から下方向100mmの位置に内径100mmのガス排出孔を4つ有し、これらのガス排出孔は円筒の円周方向に略等間隔に設けられている。
導入するガスの流量を毎分3.3m3とする代わりに、毎分4.0m3としたことの他は、実施例1と同様として、噴流層の環状粒子層におけるガス流速を算出した。その結果、環状粒子層におけるガス流速は0.15m/sであり、最小流動化速度の0.75倍であった。
導入するガスの流量を毎分3.3m3とする代わりに、毎分4.7m3としたことの他は、実施例1と同様として、噴流層の環状粒子層におけるガス流速を算出した。その結果、環状粒子層におけるガス流速は0.16m/sであり、最小流動化速度の0.80倍であった。
導入するガスの流量を毎分3.3m3とする代わりに、毎分5.4m3としたことの他は、実施例1と同様として、噴流層の環状粒子層におけるガス流速を算出した。その結果、環状粒子層におけるガス流速は0.16m/sであり、最小流動化速度の0.80倍であった。
円筒に形成された4つのガス排出孔からガスを側方に排出する代わりに、当該ガス排出孔をすべて塞ぐ一方、閉鎖板を用いずに円筒の上端を開放してガスを上方に排出するようにしたことの他は、実施例1と同様として、噴流層の環状粒子層におけるガス流速を算出した。その結果、環状粒子層におけるガス流速は、実施例1に比べて低い0.13m/sであり、最小流動化速度の0.65倍であった。
円筒に形成された4つのガス排出孔からガスを側方に排出する代わりに、当該ガス排出孔をすべて塞ぐ一方、閉鎖板を用いずに円筒の上端を開放してガスを上方に排出するようにしたことの他は、実施例2と同様として、噴流層の環状粒子層におけるガス流速を算出した。その結果、環状粒子層におけるガス流速は、実施例2に比べて低い0.11m/sであり、最小流動化速度の0.55倍であった。
円筒に形成された4つのガス排出孔からガスを側方に排出する代わりに、当該ガス排出孔をすべて塞ぐ一方、閉鎖板を用いずに円筒の上端を開放してガスを上方に排出するようにしたことの他は、実施例3と同様として、噴流層の環状粒子層におけるガス流速を算出した。その結果、環状粒子層におけるガス流速は、実施例3に比べて低い0.12m/sであり、最小流動化速度の0.60倍であった。
円筒に形成された4つのガス排出孔からガスを側方に排出する代わりに、当該ガス排出孔をすべて塞ぐ一方、閉鎖板を用いずに円筒の上端を開放してガスを上方に排出するようにしたことの他は、実施例4と同様として、噴流層の環状粒子層におけるガス流速を算出した。その結果、環状粒子層におけるガス流速は、実施例4に比べて低い0.12m/sであり、最小流動化速度の0.60倍であった。
Claims (5)
- 鉛直方向に伸びる円筒と、
前記円筒の上端を閉鎖する閉鎖板と、
前記円筒の下端に形成され、下方に行くほど内径が小さくなると共に下端にガス導入用開口を有する縮径部と、
前記円筒の内面から外面にかけて貫通しており、前記縮径部の上面と、前記閉鎖板の下面と、前記円筒の内面とによって囲まれた処理領域からガスを排出するガス排出孔と、
を備え、前記ガス排出孔が前記処理領域内に形成される噴流層よりも上方に設けられている噴流層装置を用いて、
ポリオレフィン粒子による噴流層を前記処理領域内に形成させてオレフィンの重合を行うポリオレフィン製造方法。 - 前記処理領域内における前記ガス導入用開口の上方に配設され、下方に行くほど外径が大きくなると共に上端が閉じられ且つ下端が前記円筒の内壁から離間されているそらせ板を前記噴流層装置が更に備え、
前記ガス排出孔は、前記そらせ板の下端よりも上方に設けられている、請求項1に記載のポリオレフィン製造方法。 - 鉛直方向に伸びる円筒と、
前記円筒内を複数の空間に仕切る複数の閉鎖板と、
各々の前記空間内に形成され、下方に行くほど内径が小さくなると共に下端にガス導入用開口を有する縮径部と、
前記円筒の外面から内面にかけて貫通しており、各々の前記空間のうち、前記縮径部とその下方の前記閉鎖板との間の下部領域にガスを供給するためのガス供給孔と、
前記円筒の内面から外面にかけて貫通しており、各々の前記空間のうち、前記縮径部と、その上方の前記閉鎖板との間の処理領域からガスを排出するためのガス排出孔と、
を備え、前記ガス排出孔が各々の前記処理領域内に形成される噴流層よりも上方に設けられている多段型の噴流層装置を用いて、
ポリオレフィン粒子による噴流層を各々の前記処理領域内に形成させてオレフィンの重合を行うポリオレフィン製造方法。 - 各々の前記処理領域内における前記ガス導入用開口の上方に配設され、下方に行くほど外径が大きくなると共に上端が閉じられ且つ下端が前記円筒の内壁から離間されている複数のそらせ板を前記多段型の噴流層装置が更に備え、
前記ガス排出孔は、各々の前記そらせ板の下端よりも上方であり且つその直上の前記閉鎖板よりも下方に設けられている、請求項3に記載のポリオレフィン製造方法。 - 前記多段型の噴流層装置は、上段の前記処理領域から下段の前記処理領域に粒子を移送する移送手段を備える、請求項3又は4に記載のポリオレフィン製造方法。
