Claims (3)
- 電解質の両側に電極を配設した電解質・電極構造体を第1金属セパレータ及び第2金属セパレータで挟持する燃料電池であって、
前記第1金属セパレータと前記第2金属セパレータは、各々が金属プレートを備え、
前記第1金属セパレータと前記第2金属セパレータの各々の前記金属プレートの一方の面に、又は前記第1金属セパレータの前記金属プレートの一方の面に、樹脂枠部材のみが当該金属プレートと一体に成形されるとともに、
前記第1金属セパレータと前記第2金属セパレータの各々の前記金属プレートの他方の面に、又は前記第1金属セパレータの前記金属プレートの他方の面に、ゴムシールのみが当該金属プレートと一体に成形され、
向かい合う当該金属プレートに形成された前記樹脂枠部材と前記ゴムシールは互いに当接することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記第1金属セパレータには、反応ガス及び冷却媒体を前記電解質・電極構造体、前記第1金属セパレータ及び前記第2金属セパレータの積層方向に流す流体連通孔が、前記金属プレート、前記樹脂枠部材及び前記ゴムシールを貫通して形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池において、前記第1金属セパレータの前記金属プレートに形成された前記ゴムシールは、前記電解質・電極構造体、前記第1金属セパレータ及び前記第2金属セパレータの積層方向に対して互いにオフセットして設けられる燃料ガス用シール部、酸化剤ガス用シール部及び冷却媒体用シール部を有することを特徴とする燃料電池。
