However, when menthol cigarettes are stored at 55 ° C, the amount of menthol in tobacco smoke is greatly reduced compared to the initial amount when no porous menthol sheet coexists, but the porous menthol sheet coexists. The amount of menthol in tobacco smoke is hardly reduced. These results strongly suggest that the porous menthol sheet releases a small amount of menthol at room temperature (30 ° C. or lower), but releases a large amount of menthol at a high temperature (50 ° C. or higher).
