Description
かかる融点の値は、ISO−11357−3にしたがって、20℃/分の加熱速度を用いて示差走査熱量測定によって測定される。
更に、本発明のコポリマーは、結晶性の融点を有し、通常はアイソタクチックタイプの立体規則性を有するので、半結晶性である。
・25重量%以下、好ましくは20重量%以下の室温(則ち約25℃)におけるキシレン中の溶解度;
・13C−NMRを用いてmダイアド/全ダイアドとして測定して97%以上のアイソタクチシティーインデックス;
・GPC(ゲル透過クロマトグラフィー)によって測定して4〜7のMw/Mnの比によって表される分子量分布。
上記で言及したように、分子量の調整は、公知の調整剤、特に水素を用いることによって行う。
(1)マグネシウム二ハロゲン化物(好ましくは塩化物)上に担持されているチタン化合物及び電子ドナー化合物(内部ドナー)を含む固体成分;
(2)アルミニウムアルキル化合物(共触媒);及び場合によっては
(3)電子ドナー化合物(外部ドナー);
の間の反応の生成物を含む。
かかる電子ドナー化合物の中で、フタル酸エステル及びコハク酸エステルが特に適している。

共触媒(2)としては、Al−トリエチル、Al−トリイソブチル、及びAl−トリ−n−ブチルのようなトリアルキルアルミニウム化合物が好ましく用いられる。
上述の1,3−ジエーテルも外部ドナーとして用いるのに好適である。内部ドナーがかかる1,3−ジエーテルの1つである場合には、外部ドナーを省くことができる。
本発明のコポリマーにはまた、例えば成核剤、及び透明化剤、並びに加工助剤などのオレフィンポリマーのために通常用いられる添加剤を含ませることもできる。
上述したように、本発明は、5〜9重量%のヘキセン−1から誘導される繰り返し単位を含み、125℃〜140℃、好ましくは128℃〜139℃の融点、及び0.1〜3g/10分のメルトフローレート(ASTM−D1238、230℃/2.16kg)を有する、プロピレンとヘキセン−1とのかかるコポリマーを含むブローンフィルムも提供する。
ブローンフィルム(チューブ状フィルムとも呼ばれる)押出の技術は、薄いプラスチックフィルムの製造のために周知である。このプロセスは、溶融した熱可塑性樹脂を環状ダイに通して押出し、次に溶融ウエブの「バブル状」の膨張を行わせることを含む。
所望のような比較的硬いリールを製造するためには、リール直径が増加する際に巻取張力(則ちフィルムにおける張力)を一定に保持しなければならない。したがって、駆動トルクは巻取直径に伴って増加させなければならない。
かかるプロセスにおいては、以下の主要な設定及び条件にしたがって運転することが好ましい。
特に、押出機バレル温度の設定値は、好ましくは160〜270℃、より好ましくは180〜260℃、特に200〜250℃である。
フィルム押出は、好ましくは垂直方向に上向きの方向に行う。
ダイ直径は、30mm〜2m又はそれ以上の任意の商業的なダイの寸法であってよく、好ましくは、ダイ直径は100mm〜1m、より好ましくは150mm〜650mmである。
多層フィルムにおいては、少なくとも1つの層が本発明のコポリマーを含む。少なくとも基層(「支持層」とも呼ばれる)が本発明のコポリマーを含むことが好ましい。他の1つ又は複数の層には、他の種類のポリマーを含ませることができる。
(a)アイソタクチック又は主としてアイソタクチックのプロピレンホモポリマー、並びにHDPE、LDPE、LLDPEなどのエチレンのホモポリマー又はコポリマー;
(b)プロピレンと、エチレン、及び/又は、例えばブテン−1、ヘキセン−1、4−メチル−1−ペンテン、オクテン−1のようなC4〜C10のα−オレフィンとの半結晶性コポリマー(ここで、全コモノマー含量はコポリマーの重量に対して0.05重量%〜20重量%の範囲である)、或いはかかるコポリマーと、アイソタクチック又は主としてアイソタクチックのプロピレンホモポリマーとの混合物;
(c)場合によっては少量(特に1重量%〜10重量%)の、ブタジエン、1,4−ヘキサジエン、1,5−ヘキサジエン、エチリデン−1−ノルボルネンのようなジエンを含む、エチレンとプロピレン及び/又はC4〜C10のα−オレフィンとのエラストマーコポリマー;
(d)プロピレンホモポリマー及び/又は項目(b)のコポリマーの1つ、並びに項目(c)のコポリマーの1以上を含むエラストマーフラクションを含むヘテロ相コポリマー(これらは通常は、公知の方法にしたがって、溶融状態の成分を混合するか、又は逐次重合によって製造され、一般に5重量%〜90重量%の量の該エラストマーフラクションを含む);
(e)ブテン−1のホモポリマー又はエチレン及び/又は他のα−オレフィンとのコポリマー。
表面を加熱し、それをエンボス加工ローラーに押し付けることによる表面エンボス加工;
酸化(例えば炎処理)によって表面をインクに対して感受性にするか又はイオン化処理(例えばコロナ放電処理)を行った後の印刷;
表面の加熱及び加圧による特にポリプロピレンの布帛又はフィルムとの結合;
他のポリマー又は金属材料(例えばアルミニウムフィルム)との共押出;
メッキ処理(例えば真空下での蒸発によるアルミニウム層の堆積);
フィルムの2つの面の1つの上へ接着剤層を適用して接着性フィルムを製造すること;
のような一連のその後の操作にかけることができる。
実施例のポリマー材料及びフィルムに関するデータは、以下に報告する方法を用いて測定した。
示差走査熱量測定(DSC)によって測定した。6±1mgの秤量した試料を、窒素流中において、20℃/分の速度で200±1℃に加熱して200±1℃に2分間保持し、その後20℃/分の速度で40±2℃に冷却し、この温度に2分間保持して試料を結晶化させた。次に、試料を200±1℃まで20℃/分の温度上昇速度において再び溶融させた。溶融スキャンを記録し、温度記録を得て、これからピークに対応する温度を読み取った。第2の溶融中に記録された最も強度の大きい溶融ピークに対応する温度を融点とした。
ASTM−D1238にしたがい、230℃において2.16kgの負荷を用いて測定した。
冷却器及び磁気スターラーを取り付けたガラスフラスコ内に、2.5gのポリマー及び250mLのキシレンを導入した。温度を、30分で溶媒の沸点まで昇温した。かくして得られた明澄な溶液を、次に還流下に保持し、更に30分間撹拌した。次にフラスコを閉止し、氷水浴中に30分間保持し、更に25℃の温度制御水浴中に30分間保持した。かくして形成された固体を迅速濾紙上で濾過した。100mLの濾液を予め秤量したアルミニウム容器内に注ぎ入れ、窒素流下において加熱プレート上で加熱して、蒸発によって溶媒を除去した。次に、容器を、一定重量が得られるまで、真空下、80℃のオーブン内に保持した。次に、室温においてキシレン中に可溶のポリマーの重量%を算出した。
テトラヒドロナフタレン中135℃において測定した。
1−ヘキセン含量及びアイソタクチシティー:
13C−NMR分光法によって測定した。
試料を120℃において1,1,2,2−テトラクロロエタン−d2中に8%wt/vの濃度で溶解した。90°のパルス、1H−13Cカップリングを除去するためのパルスとCPD(WALTZ16)との遅延15秒でそれぞれのスペクトルを獲得した。6000Hzのスペクトルウインドウを用いて約1500の過渡スペクトルを32Kのデータ点で保存した。
以下の等式:

HH=100 Sαα(HH)/Σ;
ここで、Σ=Σααであり、
[P]=PP+0.5PH;
[H]=HH+0.5PH;
を用いてSααからダイアド分布及び組成の計算値を得た。
好ましくは1,2,4−トリクロロベンゼン中で行うゲル透過クロマトグラフィー(GPC)を用いて測定した。詳しくは、試料を50mLの安定化1,2,4−トリクロロベンゼンあたり70mgの濃度(250μg/mL−BHT(CAS登録番号128−37−0))で調製した;次に試料を170℃に2.5時間加熱して可溶化した;測定は、Waters GPCV2000上で、145℃において、1.0mL/分の流速において、同じ安定化溶媒を用いて行った。3つのPolymer Labカラム(Plgel、20μmの混合ALS、300×7.5mm)を直列で用いた。
ASTM−D1922にしたがって、機械方向(MD)及び横方向(TD)の両方において測定した。
プランジャー(50mm、4mmの直径)を用い、20mm/分の速度を用いてフィルムを穿刺するのに必要なエネルギーから求め、その後に変形を測定した。
ASTM法D1003にしたがって測定した。
透明度:
ASTM−D1746にしたがって測定した。
ASTM−D2457にしたがって測定した。
ダート試験:
ASTM法D1709Aにしたがって測定した。
ASTM−D882にしたがって、機械方向(MD)及び横方向(TD)の両方において測定した。
ASTM−D882にしたがって、機械方向(MD)及び横方向(TD)の両方において測定した。
以下のようにしてコポリマーを調製した。
重合において用いた固体触媒成分は、WO−03/054035に記載されている触媒成分Aを製造するための方法と同様の方法によって製造した、約2.2重量%のチタン及び内部ドナーとしてジイソブチルフタレートを含む、塩化マグネシウム上に担持されている高立体特異性チーグラー・ナッタ触媒成分であった。
それを重合反応器中に導入する前に、上記記載の固体触媒成分を、15℃においてアルミニウムトリエチル(TEAL)及びテキシルトリメトキシシラン(2,3−ジメチル−2−トリメトキシシリル−ブタン)と、約7に等しいTEAL/テキシルトリメトキシシランの重量比で、且つTEAL/固体触媒成分の重量比が約6に等しくなるような量で、約6分間接触させた。
重合:
予備重合触媒系、水素(分子量調整剤として用いた)、気体状態のプロピレン及びヘキセン−1を連続の一定流で供給することによって、気相重合反応器内で重合を行った。
・温度:75℃;
・圧力:1.6MPa;
・H2/C3−のモル比:0.0005;
・C6−/(C6− + C3−)のモル比:0.0453;
・滞留時間:96分間。
固体触媒成分1gあたりポリマー8400gのポリマー収量が得られた。
反応器から排出されるポリマー粒子を蒸気処理にかけて反応性モノマー及び揮発性物質を除去した後、乾燥した。
・MFR:0.3g/10分;
・キシレン中に可溶のフラクションの量:18.1重量%;
・融点:132.3℃。
COPO−2は、かかるコポリマーを500重量ppmのDynamar FX5911及び1800重量ppmのMillad 3988と共に押出すことによって得た。
Millad 3988は、ビス(3,4−ジメチルジベンジリデン)ソルビトールをベースとする透明化剤である。
Collinの3層共押出ライン上で3層フィルムを製造した。実施例1のフィルムは、3つの層全てに関してCOPO−1を用いることによって製造した。実施例2のフィルムは、3つの層全てに関してCOPO−2を用いることによって製造した。
・押出機産出量:80kg/時
・溶融温度:250〜260℃。
・バレル温度:200−240−220−220−220℃;
・アダプター温度:220℃;
・ダイ温度:230−250−230−225−230℃;
・スクリュー速度:3台の押出機全てに関して30rpm;
・ブローアップ比:3.1;
・ライン速度:5.3m/分;
であった。
・スクリュー速度:3台の押出機全てに関して50rpm;
・ブローアップ比:3;
・ライン速度:10m/分。
・バレル温度:200−240−220−210−210℃;
・アダプター温度:210℃;
・ダイ温度:比較例3においては240−250−240−250−250℃;比較例4においては230−245−230−230−230℃;
・ブローアップ比:比較例3においては2.8;比較例4においては2.9;
・ライン速度:7m/分。
かくして得られたフィルムの特性を表1に報告する。
Claims (11)
- 5〜9重量%のヘキセン−1から誘導される繰り返し単位を含み、125℃〜140℃の融点、及び0.1〜3g/10分のメルトフローレート(ASTM−D1238、230℃/2.16kg)を有する、プロピレンとヘキセン−1とのコポリマー。
- 25重量%以下の室温におけるキシレン中の溶解度を有する、請求項1に記載のコポリマー。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のコポリマーと透明化剤とを含む、ポリマー組成物。
- 塩化マグネシウム上に担持されているチタン化合物及び電子ドナー化合物を含む固体成分、アルミニウムアルキル化合物、及び外部電子ドナー化合物を含む立体特異性チーグラー・ナッタ触媒の存在下で行う、請求項1または2に記載のポリマーを製造するための重合方法。
- 外部電子ドナー化合物が、少なくとも1つのSi−OR結合(ここでRは炭化水素基である)を含むケイ素化合物から選択される、請求項4に記載の重合方法。
- 外部電子ドナー化合物がテキシルトリメトキシシランである、請求項4又は5に記載の重合方法。
- 請求項1に記載のプロピレンとヘキセン−1とのコポリマーを含むブローンフィルム。
- 250μmより小さい厚さを有する、請求項7に記載のブローンフィルム。
- 請求項7又は8に記載のブローンフィルムを含む商品及び食品の包装材。
- 請求項1に記載のプロピレンとヘキセン−1とのコポリマーを用いて少なくとも1つのフィルム層を形成する、ブローンフィルムの製造方法。
- ・スクリュー直径の20〜40倍のスクリュー長さ;
・160〜270℃のバレル及びダイ温度;
・3mm以下の環状ダイギャップ;
・2.2〜4のブローアップ比;
・5〜20℃の冷却媒体温度;
の条件下で行う、請求項10に記載の方法。
