Claims (18)
- 目標とされる椎体の内部空間に移植するための多孔質収容装置であって、この多孔質収容装置が、骨充填材料を受け入れる内部キャビティを形成する外面を備え、多孔質収容装置がさらに、
近位側部分、遠位側部分、及び近位側部分と遠位側部分との間に配置された中央部分を備え、中央部分は、近位側部分及び遠位側部分に比べて小さい直径を有している上記各部分と、を備え、
多孔質収容装置は、骨充填材料を多孔質収容装置の内部キャビティの中に注入することで、挿入形態から膨張形態へと拡張可能であり、
多孔質収容装置の中央部分における外面は、骨充填材料の一部分が多孔質収容装置の中央部分における外面から又は外面を通して流出できるように構成され、インシトゥーにおいて膨張形態のとき、骨充填材料は、骨充填材料がバッファ領域においておおむね収容されるように近位側部分と遠位側部分との間のバッファ領域に方向性を有して分泌され、分泌された骨充填材料は、目標とする椎体の内部体積において、骨組織に交互嵌合する、
ことを特徴とする多孔質収容装置。 - 近位側部分は、外径D1を有し、遠位側部分は、外径D2を有し、中央部分は、外径D3を有し、D3は、D1及びD2に比べて小さくなっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- D3は、D1及びD2に対して、およそ5%からおよそ60%の間であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 多孔質収容装置は、拡張可能な状態にあるとき、実質的に“犬の骨”の形状になっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 骨充填材料は、多孔質収容装置の中央部分における外面に形成された1又は複数の細孔を介して分泌されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 目標とされる椎体の内部空間に移植するための多孔質収容装置であって、この多孔質収容装置が、骨充填材料を受け入れる内部キャビティを形成する外面を備え、多孔質収容装置がさらに、
近位側部分、遠位側部分、及び近位側部分と遠位側部分との間に配置された中央部分を備え、中央部分は、近位側部分及び遠位側部分に比べて小さい直径を有している上記各部分と、を備え、
多孔質収容装置は、骨充填材料を多孔質収容装置の内部キャビティの中に注入することで、挿入形態から膨張形態へと拡張可能であり、
多孔質収容装置の中央部分における外面は、骨充填材料の一部分が多孔質収容装置の外面から又は外面を通して流出できるように構成され、インシトゥーにおいて膨張形態のとき、骨充填材料は、分泌され、且つ目標とする椎体の内部体積において、骨組織に交互嵌合し、遠位側部分及び近位側部分は、バッファとして作用して、分泌された骨充填材料を中央部分に実質的におおむね収容し、
骨充填材料は、多孔質収容装置の外面から延びている複数の触糸(tentacles)を介して分泌され、それぞれの複数の触糸は、少なくとも1つの開口部を形成されて具備し、骨充填材料を分泌して、周囲の骨組織に交互嵌合することを特徴とする多孔質収容装置。 - 多孔質収容装置の外面における少なくとも一部分は、透過性材料から作られていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 目標とされる椎体の内部空間に移植するための多孔質収容装置であって、この多孔質収容装置が、骨充填材料を受け入れる内部キャビティを形成する外面を備え、多孔質収容装置がさらに、
拡大した近位側部分、拡大した遠位側部分、及び近位側部分と遠位側部分との間に配置された細い中央部分を備え、中央部分は、近位側部分及び遠位側部分に比べて小さい直径を有している上記各部分と、を備え、
多孔質収容装置は、骨充填材料を多孔質収容装置の内部キャビティの中に注入することで、挿入形態から膨張形態へと拡張可能であり、
多孔質収容装置における中央部分の外面は、多孔質収容装置の中央部分から骨充填材料を分泌するために、1又は複数の細孔を具備し、インシトゥーにおいて膨張形態のとき、分泌された骨充填材料は、目標とする椎体の内部体積において、骨組織に交互嵌合し、多孔質収容装置の中央部分に形成された1又は複数の細孔は、細い中央部分に向けて、分泌された骨充填材料が中央に導かれるように向いており、拡大した遠位側部分及び拡大した近位側部分は、バッファとして作用して、細い中央部分における分泌された骨充填材料を実質的におおむね収容する、
ことを特徴とする多孔質収容装置。 - 1又は複数の細孔は、初期には材料で被覆されており、1又は複数の初期に被覆された細孔は、所定の圧力に達したときに破れる、所定の破断点を有していることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 1又は複数の細孔は、初期には材料によって閉じられており、材料の厚みは、多孔質収容装置の外面の厚みに比べて小さくて、1又は複数の初期に閉じた細孔は、所定の圧力に達したときに破れる、所定の破断点を有していることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 多孔質収容装置はさらに、1又は複数の表面改質構造を具備し、膨張した形態にあるとき、多孔質収容装置と周囲の骨組織との間の摩擦接触を改善することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 表面改質構造は、多孔質収容装置の外面に形成された、複数のノブであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 表面改質構造は、多孔質収容装置の外面に形成された、複数のリブであり、複数のリブが軸線方向のリブ、長手方向のリブ、半径方向のリブ、直径方向のリブ、C字形のリブ又はT字形のリブからなることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 複数のリブは、多孔質収容装置の外面に配置され、分泌された骨充填材料を導くための1又は複数の細孔に隣接していることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 多孔質収容装置における中央部分は、中央部分の膨張を束縛するために、1又は複数のリングを具備していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 骨充填材料は、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 多孔質収容装置は、1又は複数の放射線不透過であるマーカーを具備し、X線イメージングの下で、多孔質収容装置の位置決めを容易にすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
- 多孔質収容装置の中央部分のみが、骨充填材料を、多孔質収容装置の中央部分から分泌させる1又は複数の細孔を有し、近位側部分と遠位側部分は細孔を有していないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多孔質収容装置。
