Description
Claims (11)
- 被加工物の3次元表面を形成する方法であって、
スピンドル軸を有するスピンドルを供給する工程と、
球面の切削面を有する切削工具を供給する工程と、
前記球面の切削面に適合する外表面を有する球面の中心を決定する工程と、
前記球面と前記被加工物との間の接触点を前記3次元表面とするように、前記球面の中心の位置を計算する工程と、
前記スピンドル軸を中心に前記切削工具を回転させる工程と、
前記計算した位置に前記球面の中心を配置することで、前記3次元表面を形成する工程であって、ラスタパターンで前記位置の中心を移動させる工程と、
前記切削工具の有効半径を計算する工程であって、前記有効半径は、前記スピンドル軸の点から前記切削工具の球面と前記3次元表面との間の接触点までの前記スピンドル軸と同等の長さを有する工程と、
当該接触点において前記有効半径と前記切削工具の回転速度との積が一定に保持されるように、前記切削工具の回転速度を調節する工程と、
を備える被加工物の3次元表面を形成する方法。 - 前記切削工具の球面と前記3次元表面との間の複数の接触点を計算する工程を更に備え、
前記中心を移動させる工程は、二つの前記接触点の間の移動時間が前記二つの接触点の間の距離と一定の割合であるように前記中心を移動させる請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ラスタパターンは、前記スピンドル軸に平行なY軸に沿って動き、前記スピンドル軸に対して垂直なX軸に沿って動き、前記切削工具の球面と前記3次元表面との間の接触点は、X軸に沿って動く間においてのみ生じる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記球面は、20mmよりも大きい半径を有する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 被加工物の3次元表面を形成する方法であって、
スピンドル軸を有するスピンドルを供給する工程と、
円錐曲線回転面の切削面を有する切削工具を供給する工程と、
前記円錐曲線回転面の中心を決定する工程と、
前記円錐曲線回転面と前記被加工物との間の接触点を前記3次元表面とするように、前記円錐曲線回転面の中心の位置を計算する工程と、
前記スピンドル軸を中心に前記切削工具を回転させる工程と、
前記計算した位置に前記円錐曲線回転面の中心を配置することで、前記3次元表面を形成する工程であって、ラスタパターンで前記位置の中心を移動させる工程と、
前記切削工具の有効半径を計算する工程であって、前記有効半径は、前記スピンドル軸の点から前記切削工具の円錐曲線回転面と前記3次元表面との間の接触点までの前記スピンドル軸と同等の長さを有する工程と、
当該接触点において前記有効半径と前記切削工具の回転速度との積が一定に保持されるように、前記切削工具の回転速度を調節する工程と、
を備える被加工物の3次元表面を形成する方法。 - 3次元表面を形成する装置であって、
スピンドル軸を有するスピンドルと、
球面の切削面を有する切削工具と、
被加工物を保持し、前記切削工具を3次元に移動させるように制御する支持台と、
前記切削工具の球面が前記3次元表面と接触する場合、前記球面の中心の複数の位置を有する切削経路を計算する制御モジュールであって、前記球面の中心が被加工物の切削経路を辿るように前記支持台及び前記切削工具を制御する制御モジュールと、
可変の回転速度により前記切削工具を回転させる回転駆動手段と、を有し、
前記切削経路はラスタパターンからなり、
前記制御モジュールは、前記スピンドル軸の点から前記切削工具の球面と前記3次元表面との間の接触点までの前記スピンドル軸と同等の長さを有する有効半径を計算すると共に、当該接触点において前記有効半径と前記切削工具の回転速度との積が一定に保持されるように、前記切削工具の回転速度を調節する3次元表面形成装置。 - 前記制御モジュールは、さらに前記3次元表面と前記切削工具の球面との間の複数の接触点を計算し、前記切削経路において、二つの前記接触点の間の移動時間が前記二つの接触点の間の距離と一定の割合であるように、前記切削工具の移動速度を調節する請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記ラスタパターンは、前記スピンドル軸に平行なY軸に沿って動き、前記スピンドル軸に対して垂直なX軸に沿って動き、前記切削工具の球面と前記3次元表面との間の接触点は、X軸に沿って動く間においてのみ生じる請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記球面は、20mmよりも大きい半径を有する請求項6に記載の装置。
- 3次元表面を形成する装置であって、
スピンドル軸を有するスピンドルと、
円錐曲線回転面の切削面を有する切削工具と、
被加工物を保持し、前記切削工具を3次元に移動させるように制御する支持台と、
前記切削工具の円錐曲線回転面が前記3次元表面と接触する場合、前記円錐曲線回転面の中心の複数の位置を有する切削経路を計算する制御モジュールであって、前記円錐曲線回転面の中心が被加工物の切削経路を辿るように前記支持台及び前記切削工具を制御する制御モジュールと、
可変の回転速度により前記切削工具を回転させる回転駆動手段と、を有し、
前記切削経路はラスタパターンからなり、
前記制御モジュールは、前記スピンドル軸の点から前記切削工具の円錐曲線回転面と前記3次元表面との間の接触点までの前記スピンドル軸と同等の長さを有する有効半径を計算すると共に、当該接触点において前記有効半径と前記切削工具の回転速度との積が一定に保持されるように、前記切削工具の回転速度を調節する3次元表面形成装置。 - 請求項6から10のいずれかに記載の装置のサーボモータの駆動を制御するコンピュータプログラム。
