Description
Claims (4)
- 内燃機関に用いられる一体型のピストン(20)であって、ピストンヘッド(11)に全周にわたって環状に延びる、下方に向かって開いたクーリングチャンネル(15)と、ピストンヘッド(11)とピストンスカート(13)との間に形成された環状の切欠き(16)とが設けられていて、ピストンヘッド(11)とピストンスカート(13)とがピストンボス(14)によって互いに結合されている形式の一体型のピストン(20)をピストンブランク(10)から製造するための方法であって、前記環状の切欠き(16)とクーリングチャンネル(15)とを、切削加工によってピストンブランク(10)に加工成形し、引き続き外側輪郭を仕上げ加工し、クーリングチャンネルを閉じる形式の方法において、クーリングチャンネル(15)を切削加工するために、1つの工具(17)を、ピストンブランク(10)が回転している状態で、傾倒された角度位置でピストンブランク(10)に当て付け、前記切欠き(16)に通してクーリングチャンネル(15)の領域へ半径方向運動および軸方向運動ならびに旋回支点(S)を中心とした旋回運動で進入運動させ、かつクーリングチャンネル(15)を削り出すことを特徴とする、内燃機関に用いられる一体型のピストンを製造するための方法。
- 工具(17)として、フック形の旋削バイトを使用する、請求項1項記載の方法。
- 請求項1または2記載の方法を用いて製造された、内燃機関に用いられるピストン。
- クーリングチャンネル(15)の軸方向の高さが、前記切欠き(16)の軸方向の高さよりも大きく形成されている、請求項3記載のピストン。
