Description
本明細書においてその全体の開示が援用されている、2006年3月16日出願、米国仮特許出願第60/783,099号明細書の有益性が、35U.S.C.§119(e)下に本明細書において請求される。
0〜約65%中分子量ポリイソブチレン;
0〜約10%低分子量ポリイソブチレン;
約0.5〜6%フィブリル化ポリエチレン繊維;
約1〜15%ペクチン;及び
約1〜30%カルボキシメチルセルロース
これら基礎(ベース)成分の合計重量を基準とする。本組成物の合計重量の残り(バランス)が次いで、該稀釈剤を含む。
55%(全体の組成物の重量%による)中分子量PIB、5%低分子量PIB、2%フィブリル化ポリエチレンファイバー(表面積8m2/g、小繊維(フィブリル)長約0.55〜0.85mm。小繊維(フィブリル)直径約15μ)、13%ペクチン、及び25%CMCナトリウムを使用することによって、この発明を具現化する表皮障壁(バリア)組成物を調製した。Brabender REE6型混合機(ミキサー)を50℃において使用することによって、当該組成物を調製した。これら成分が、上で与えられた順において加えられたが、各成分添加後、この混合物が均一となった時まで、混合が進むようにした。仕上げの混合期間後、いずれのテストが行われる前に、これら混合物を該混合機(ミキサー)から除き、室温条件において平衡するようにした。
このテストは、成形可能で流動可能な(つまり、容易に変形可能な)親水コロイド含有障壁(バリア)組成物におけるフィブリル化ポリエチレン繊維の取り込みが、(1)いずれかの繊維を欠くか、又は(2)単フィラメント繊維をフィブリル化繊維の代わりに持つ組成物に対して、低温流動性に対する耐性を大きく向上させることを示す。
このテストは、全く繊維(ファイバー)を含有しないか又は2%単フィラメント繊維(モノフィラメントファイバー)を含有する他のものに対して、2%フィブリル化ポリエチレン繊維を含有する障壁(バリア)の優れた湿潤統合性を明らかにする。
一貫性値(%)=[障壁(バリア)仕上がり重量]/[障壁(バリア)当初重量]×100
を使用して算出された。
この発明を具現化する組成物において、液体PIBを粘着化剤として加え、本障壁(バリア)混合物の表面粘着を増加させる。以降のテストは、表面粘着が実際、このような障壁(バリア)組成物における液体(低分子量)PIBの包含により増加したことを明らかにする。
搾り管(スクウィーズチューブ)からの供給に適したペースト組成物を揮発性稀釈剤(イソオクタン)を使用して調製し、当該組成物の粘度を抑えた。下でリストアップされた成分が、デュアル遊星混合機(ミキサー)においてブレンドされ、該稀釈剤における均一分散体を達成した。
搾り管(スクウィーズチューブ)からの供給に適したペースト組成物を非揮発性稀釈剤(ペトロラタム)を使用して調製し、当該組成物の粘度を抑えた。下でリストアップされた成分が、デュアル遊星混合機(ミキサー)においてブレンドされ、該稀釈剤における均一分散体を達成した。
Claims (28)
- 表皮に対する接着用の接着組成物であって、少なくとも4m2/gの表面積を持つ、絡み合ったフィブリル化ポリマー繊維のネットワークと、該繊維をコーティングする連続感圧接着相と、該ネットワークの全体にわたって分散された1種以上の液体吸収膨潤可能親水コロイドの粒子を含む不連続相とを含む、接着組成物。
- 前記感圧接着相が、ポリイソブチレンを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記フィブリル化繊維が、ポリオレフィンから構成される、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリオレフィンが、ポリエチレンを含む、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- 前記表面積が、5m2/g〜20m2/gの範囲内にある、請求項1、2又は4に記載の組成物。
- 前記繊維が、0.1〜3mmの平均長を持つ小繊維(フィブリル)から構成される、請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 前記小繊維(フィブリル)が、5〜50ミクロンの範囲内の平均直径を持つ、請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 前記親水コロイドが、ペクチン及びカルボキシメチルセルロースの混合物を含む、請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 前記カルボキシメチルセルロースが、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウムである、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 前記混合物が、前記組成物の合計重量の10%〜50%を含む、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 前記混合物が、前記組成物の合計重量の5%〜20%のペクチン及び5%〜30%のカルボキシメチルセルロースを含む、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 前記混合物が、前記組成物の合計重量の10%〜15%のペクチン及び20%〜30%のカルボキシメチルセルロースを含む、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 前記混合物が、前記組成物の合計重量の13%のペクチン及び25%のカルボキシメチルセルロースを含む、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリオレフィンが、ポリエチレンであり、前記フィブリル化繊維が、前記組成物の0.5重量%〜6重量%を構成する、請求項1、2又は3に記載の組成物。
- 前記親水コロイドが、水和されている場合、前記組成物が、4〜7の範囲内のpHを持つ、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記連続相が、10,000〜40,000の範囲内の平均分子量を持つ中分子量ポリイソブチレンを包含する、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記連続相が、1,000〜4,000の範囲内の平均分子量を持つ低分子量ポリイソブチレンを包含する、請求項16に記載の組成物。
- 前記低分子量ポリイソブチレンが、2,000〜3,000の範囲内の平均分子量を持つ、請求項17に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリイソブチレンの連続層が、前記組成物の合計重量当たり0%〜65%の平均分子量10,000〜40,000を持つ中分子量ポリイソブチレンと、前記組成物の合計重量当たり0%〜80%の平均分子量2,000〜3,000を持つ低分子量ポリイソブチレンとを含み、ポリイソブチレン含量の合計重量%が、前記組成物の合計重量の少なくとも15%である、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、該組成物の合計重量の、5%〜65%の前記中分子量ポリイソブチレン、3%〜60%の前記低分子量ポリイソブチレン、1%〜3%の前記フィブリル化ポリエチレン、10%〜15%のペクチン、及び20%〜30%のカルボキシメチルセルロースを含む、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、該組成物の合計重量当たり、50%〜65%の前記中分子量ポリイソブチレン、0%〜10%の前記低分子量ポリイソブチレン、10%〜50%の親水コロイド、及び0.5%〜6%の前記フィブリル化ポリマー繊維を含む成形可能表皮障壁(バリア)である、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、該組成物の合計重量当たり、55%の前記中分子量ポリイソブチレン、5%の前記低分子量ポリイソブチレン、2%の前記フィブリル化ポリエチレン繊維、13%のペクチン、及び25%のカルボキシメチルセルロースを含む、請求項21に記載の成形可能表皮障壁(バリア)組成物。
- 前記組成物が、該組成物の合計重量当たり、0%〜15%の前記中分子量ポリイソブチレン、40%〜80%の前記低分子量ポリイソブチレン、1%〜3%の前記フィブリル化ポリエチレン繊維、5%〜15%のペクチン、及び10%〜30%のカルボキシメチルセルロースを含むペーストである、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、該組成物の合計重量当たり、10%の前記中分子量ポリイソブチレン、50%の前記低分子量ポリイソブチレン、2%の前記フィブリル化ポリエチレン繊維、13%のペクチン、及び25%のカルボキシメチルセルロースを含む、請求項23に記載のペースト組成物。
- 前記組成物が、ペーストの粘度を制限し、成形可能性及び流動可能性を促進する稀釈剤を含有するペーストである、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 前記稀釈剤が、揮発性である、請求項25に記載のペースト組成物。
- 前記稀釈剤が、非揮発性である、請求項25に記載のペースト組成物。
- 0%〜65%の中分子量ポリイソブチレン、0%〜10%の低分子量ポリイソブチレン、0.5%〜6%のフィブリル化ポリエチレン繊維、1%〜15%のペクチン、及び1%〜30%のカルボキシメチルセルロースを含む基礎(ベース)成分を、前記基礎(ベース)成分の合計重量に対して有し、前記組成物の残り(バランス)が、前記稀釈剤を含む、請求項25、26又は27に記載のペースト組成物。
