すなわち、
− 水純化工程において、薬品(化学物質)、染料、重金属、臭気を除去又は減少させ、また、病原菌を破壊する作業、
− 藻類、菌類、沈殿物を除去し、水冷装置及び熱交換器における薬品の使用量を減少させる作業、
− プール、水族館及び養魚場において水を処理する作業、及び、
− 飲料産業及び食品産業で使用される瓶及びジャー(広口瓶)を殺菌する作業。

Claims (14)
- 少なくとも1つの入口(2)、及び、少なくとも1つの出口(3)が設けられているエンクロージャ(1)を備える流体処理装置であって、
前記エンクロージャ(1)の中に設けられ、かつ前記流体中でオゾンを発生させる波長の紫外線を作製する少なくとも1つの紫外線発生部材(4)と、
前記オゾンを発生させると同時に、該オゾンをOH・遊離基に分解する波長の紫外線を作製する少なくとも1つの前記紫外線発生部材と、
前記エンクロージャ(1)中の紫外線発生部材の近くに配置され、かつOH・遊離基の量を増大させるための少なくとも1つの触媒(8)と、を備えることを特徴とする流体処理装置。 - 請求項1の流体処理装置において、前記少なくとも1つの触媒は、貴金属、二酸化チタン、酸化アルミニウム、又は、酸化ケイ素、及び、これらの混合物を含むことを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項1の流体処理装置において、流体は、空気または水を含むことを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項1の流体処理装置において、前記紫外線発生部材(4)は、少なくとも1つの紫外線ランプであり、該紫外線ランプは、180−400nmの範囲内のスペクトル分布を有する放射線を放出することを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項4の流体処理装置において、前記紫外線ランプは、183.7nm及び254nmの波長の放射線を放出することを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれかの流体処理装置において、当該流体処理装置には、流動部材(7)が設けられており、該流動部材は、処理すべき流体を前記エンクロージャ(1)を通して移動させることを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれかの流体処理装置において、前記紫外線発生部材(4)の上流
側に設けられるオゾン発生器(9)を備えることを特徴とする流体処理装置。 - 請求項1乃至7のいずれかの流体処理装置において、フィルタ(10)が、前記紫外線発生部材(4)の下流側に設けられていることを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項8の流体処理装置において、前記フィルタ(10)は、多数の通路(11)を有する多孔質の酸化セラミックから構成されていることを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項9の流体処理装置において、前記フィルタ(10)は、活性炭及び炭酸塩も含むことを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれかの流体処理装置において、当該流体処理装置の運転を制御するためのタイマを備えることを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項1乃至11のいずれかの流体処理装置において、当該流体処理装置は、異なる要素を各々有する複数のセクションから構成されていて、モジュール型のシステムを提供することを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項1の流体処理装置であって、形成された液体流(30)の中に、オゾンを発生して該オゾンを液体に供給するための部材(9、12、31)が設けられており、前記部材の下流側には、オゾンを発生すると同時に該オゾンをOH・遊離基に分解するための少なくとも1つの紫外線発生部材(4)が設けられていることを特徴とする流体処理装置。
- 請求項13の流体処理装置において、前記液体流(30)の入口には、超音波装置(33)が設けられており、これにより、前記液体流は、超音波作用を受けることを特徴とする流体処理装置。
