Description
Claims (10)
- 基地局と複数の端末の間で無線で通信を行う無線通信システムであって、
前記基地局は、複数のアンテナから構成された複数ビームアンテナを備え、前記複数ビームアンテナにより、前記複数のアンテナから対応する複数の特定エリアに向けて、同一周波数のミリ波帯の電波を同一タイミングで重複することなく時分割で放射して複数のスポットビームを形成し、
基地局と端末間で伝送される無線フレームは、基地局から全端末へのチャネルであり前記アンテナ単位に割り当てられた複数のビーコンチャネルと、全端末から基地局へのチャネルであり前記アンテナ単位に割り当てられた複数のリクエストチャネルと、要求端末に割り当てられる下りリンクデータチャネル及び上りリンクデータチャネルとから構成され、
前記基地局は、前記複数のビーコンチャネルを使用して、前記アンテナを識別する情報を含む報知情報を各アンテナからそれぞれ送信し、
前記複数の特定エリアのいずれかに存在する端末は、前記ビーコンチャネルを通じて前記報知情報を受信すると、最適なビーコンチャネルを選択し、前記複数のリクエストチャネルのうち、選択した最適なビーコンチャネルを通じて受信した報知情報に含まれるアンテナを識別する情報に対応するリクエストチャネルを使用して、前記アンテナを識別する情報を含む通信確立要求及び希望する通信帯域を含む帯域要求を前記基地局へ送信し、
前記基地局は、前記リクエストチャネルを通じて前記通信確立要求及び帯域要求を受信すると、要求端末に対して、前記フレームにチャネルを割り当てるか否かを判断し、チャネルを割り当てる場合には、前記要求端末と通信するための変調方式及び符号化方式、並びに下りリンクデータチャネル及び上りリンクデータチャネルを含むチャネル割当時間をスケジューリングし、
前記基地局は、前記複数のアンテナにより前記リクエストチャネルを通じて受信する端末からの前記通信確立要求及び帯域要求を通じて把握するトラヒック量に基づき、各アンテナの接続時間を決定し、要求端末と通信するためのチャネル割当時間を制御する
無線通信システム。 - 前記複数ビームアンテナは、複数のセクタから構成され、かつ各セクタは複数のアンテナから構成され、隣接したセクタ同志では異なる周波数のミリ波帯の電波を放射し、離間したセクタ同志では同一周波数のミリ波帯の電波を放射する
請求項1記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記基地局は、フレームコントロールヘッダの有無及び前記フレーム内の位置を、当該ビーコンチャネルを通じて要求端末に通知するとともに、前記チャネル割当時間を、当該下りリンクデータチャネルに含まれる前記フレームコントロールヘッダを通じて要求端末に通知する
請求項1又は2記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記基地局は、前記チャネル割当時間を、当該ビーコンチャネルを通じて要求端末に通知する
請求項1又は2記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記基地局は、同一周波数を使用するセクタ間で下りリンクデータチャネル及び上りリンクデータチャネル、下りリンクデータチャネル同士または上りリンクデータチャネル同士が干渉することのないよう前記同一周波数を使用するセクタの前記フレームの構成を制御する
請求項2記載の無線通信システム。 - 基地局と複数の端末の間で無線で通信を行う無線通信方法であって、
前記基地局は、複数のアンテナから構成された複数ビームアンテナを備え、前記複数ビームアンテナにより、前記複数のアンテナから対応する複数の特定エリアに向けて、同一周波数のミリ波帯の電波を同一タイミングで重複することなく時分割で放射して複数のスポットビームを形成し、
基地局と端末間で伝送される無線フレームは、基地局から全端末へのチャネルであり前記アンテナ単位に割り当てられた複数のビーコンチャネルと、全端末から基地局へのチャネルであり前記アンテナ単位に割り当てられた複数のリクエストチャネルと、要求端末に割り当てられる下りリンクデータチャネル及び上りリンクデータチャネルとから構成され、
前記複数のビーコンチャネルを使用して、前記アンテナを識別する情報を含む報知情報を各アンテナからそれぞれ送信するステップと、
前記ビーコンチャネルを通じて前記報知情報を受信すると、最適なビーコンチャネルを選択し、前記複数のリクエストチャネルのうち、選択した最適なビーコンチャネルを通じて受信した報知情報に含まれるアンテナを識別する情報に対応するリクエストチャネルを使用して、前記アンテナを識別する情報を含む通信確立要求及び希望する通信帯域を含む帯域要求を、前記複数の特定エリアのいずれかに存在する端末から前記基地局へ送信するステップと、
前記リクエストチャネルを通じて前記通信確立要求及び帯域要求を受信すると、要求端末に対して、前記フレームにチャネルを割り当てるか否かを判断し、チャネルを割り当てる場合には、前記要求端末と通信するための変調方式及び符号化方式、並びに下りリンクデータチャネル及び上りリンクデータチャネルを含むチャネル割当時間をスケジューリングするステップと
を含み、
前記基地局は、前記複数のアンテナにより前記リクエストチャネルを通じて受信する端末からの前記通信確立要求及び帯域要求を通じて把握するトラヒック量に基づき、各アンテナの接続時間を決定し、要求端末と通信するためのチャネル割当時間を制御する
