Description

Claims (27)
- システムであって、
デュアルモードサービス権限付与データベースと、クライアントから受信した位置情報とに基づいて、無線ネットワークへのアクセスを提供するように構成されたアクセスコンポーネントと、
ここで、前記位置情報は、第1のブロードバンドエンドポイントの地理的位置を示し、かつ、デュアルモードサービス、動的位置料金請求、緊急情報へのアクセスを容易にし、
前記デュアルモードサービス権限付与データベースは、ホームブロードバンドエンドポイントとして識別された第2のブロードバンドエンドポイントを識別し、かつ、ブロードバントエンドポイントインターネットプロトコルアドレスを含む情報を有し、
前記アクセスコンポーネントは、プレゼンスユーザエージェントからメッセージを受信し、かつ、前記デュアルモードサービス権限付与データベース内の対応する加入者レコードを更新するように構成されたプレゼンスサーバをさらに含み、
前記メッセージは、国際モバイル加入者識別番号、別のブロードバンドエンドポイントのインターネットプロトコルアドレス、位置情報を含み、
前記第1のブロードバンドエンドポイントのインターネットプロトコルアドレスと、前記ホームブロードバンドエンドポイントに関連付けられた第1の料金と、前記ホームブロードバンドエンドポイントとは離れたエンドポイントに関連付けられた第2の料金とに基づいて料金請求書を作成するように構成された料金請求コンポーネントと
を具えたことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記クライアントは、デュアルモードモバイルハンドセットであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記第1のブロードバンドエンドポイントは、ブロードバンドインターネットプロトコルネットワークに関連付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記ブロードバンドインターネットプロトコルネットワークは、デジタル加入者回線技術を含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載のシステム。
- 前記ブロードバンドインターネットプロトコルネットワークは、ケーブルテレビインターネットプロトコルネットワークを含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載のシステム。
- 前記無線ネットワークは、移動通信用グローバルシステムネットワークであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記無線ネットワークは、汎用パケット無線サービスネットワークであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセスコンポーネントは、前記無線ネットワークにアクセスするためにポイントツーポイントプロトコルオーバイーサネットプロトコルを利用する住宅用ブロードバンドゲートウェイを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記物理的位置データは、前記アクセスへの制御、前記動的位置料金請求を容易にすること、および、前記緊急情報の決定を容易にすることのために利用されることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記クライアントは、デュアルモードハンドセット内に含まれることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記デュアルモードサービス権限付与データベースは、ホームロケーションレジスタ内に含まれることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記デュアルモードサービス権限付与データベースは、国際モバイル加入者識別データ、インターネットプロトコルアドレス、ブロードバンド識別データ、および位置データを含むレコードフォーマットからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記デュアルモードサービス権限付与データベースは、地理座標データを含むレコードフォーマットからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記アクセスコンポーネントは、ブロードバンド識別およびインターネットプロトコルアドレスと国際モバイル加入者識別とを相関させるようにさらに構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の料金は、無料であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の料金は、ゼロよりも大きな値であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
- ネットワークアクセスの管理を容易にするシステムであって、
インターネットプロトコルアドレスをブロードバントエンドポイントに割当てるように構成されたリモート認証デュアル−インユーザサービスサーバと、
ここで、前記ブロードバントエンドポイントは、該ブロードバンドエンドポイントの地理的位置を識別し、かつ、デュアルモードサービス、動的位置料金請求、緊急情報へのアクセスを容易にする位置データに関連付けられ、
ハンドセットに関連付けられた加入者レコードを含むデュアルモードサービス権限付与データベースと、
プレゼンスユーザエージェントからプレゼンスメッセージを受信し、かつ、加入者レコードを更新するように構成されたプレゼンスサーバと、
前記プレゼンスメッセージは、国際モバイル加入者識別番号、別のブロードバンドエンドポイントのインターネットプロトコルアドレス、位置情報を含み、
前記ブロードバントエンドポイントの前記インターネットプロトコルアドレスを前記加入者レコードに記録されたインターネットプロトコルアドレスのリストと比較するように構成されたネットワークコントローラコンポーネントと
を具えたことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記ブロードバンドエンドポイントは、ブロードバンドモデムであることを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- 前記デュアルモードサービス権限付与データベースは、認証、権限付与、およびアカウンティングデータベースであることを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- 前記ブロードバンドエンドポイントは、ブルーツース(Bluetooth)ネットワークに関連付けられたことを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- 前記プレゼンスユーザエージェントは、前記ブロードバンドエンドポイントの物理的属性を無線ネットワークに通知するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- 前記物理的属性は、ブロードバンド識別を示すことを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- ブロードバンド識別およびインターネットプロトコルアドレスを、国際モバイル加入者識別と関連付けるように構成されたデータベースをさらに具えたことを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- 前記ネットワークコントローラコンポーネントは、登録手順中に加入者データベースに問い合わせを行うように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- 前記ハンドセットは、デュアルモードモバイルハンドセットであることを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- 前記ハンドセットは、アナログ端末アダプタを含むことを特徴とする請求項17記載のシステム。
- 別のアナログ端末アダプタは、前記ハンドセットとのインターフェースをとり、前記ハンドセットの外部に存在することを特徴とする請求項26記載のシステム。
