Claims (2)
- 工作機械に装着されて工作物を加工するための工具を保持する工具ホルダーにおいて、
前記工具ホルダーは、前記工作機械の主軸に連結されて前記工具が装着される工具装着部と、前記工作機械の本体側に固定され且つ前記工具装着部を回転できるように軸受を介して支持する支持部と、から構成され、
前記工具装着部の内部には、円筒状に形成されてその中心に前方に開放する霧化空間が形成されると共に該霧化空間の後方部に連通する油導入通路と前記霧化空間の前方部に連通する水導入通路とが形成されたミスト生成ノズルと、該ミスト生成ノズルの前方部に配置され且つ前記工具の後端部と当接して当該工具の内部に形成される工具内通路と連通されるトップノズルと、が内蔵され、
前記支持部には、圧縮空気からなるキャリヤーガスによって油を前記油導入通路に供給する油供給通路と、水を前記水導入通路に供給する水供給通路と、が形成され、
前記ミスト生成ノズルにおける前記霧化空間に対する前記油導入通路及び前記水導入通路の入射角を鋭角に形成すると共に、前記油導入通路及び前記水導入通路に対して前記霧化空間の径断面積を大きく形成し、
前記油供給通路及び前記油導入通路によって供給される油が前記霧化空間に到達したときに圧縮空気からなる前記キャリヤーガスの空気流によって油を霧状化し、その霧状化した油を含有する含油圧縮空気の空気流によって前記水供給通路及び水導入通路から供給される水を前記霧化空間内で水滴化して水滴の表面に油膜が形成された油膜付水滴を生成し、その油膜付水滴が前記トップノズル及び前記工具内通路を介して前記工作物に供給されることを特徴とする工具ホルダー。 - 前記ミスト生成ノズルにおける前記霧化空間を後端面まで貫通するように形成し、
前記工具装着部に後端面まで貫通した前記霧化空間と連通する空気導入通路を形成し、
該空気導入通路に外部から圧縮空気を供給することにより、前記霧化空間内における油の霧状化及び油膜付水滴の生成を促進することを特徴とする請求項1記載の工具ホルダー。
