図1乃至図12を参照して、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムの構成について説明する。本実施形態に係る移動通信システムは、通信容量や通信品質等の通信性能を向上させることを目的として設計されている。また、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムは、第3世代移動通信システムである「W−CDMA」や「CDMA2000」に適応可能である。
以下、図13を参照して、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムの動作について説明する。具体的には、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムにおいて、上りユーザデータの伝送速度を制御する動作について説明する。
本実施形態に係る移動通信システムによれば、「上り回線エンハンスメント」が適用されている移動通信システムにおいて、SHO状態の移動局UEにおける上りユーザデータの伝送速度と非SHO状態の移動局UEにおける上りユーザデータの伝送速度とを別々に制御することによって、セル全体の上り無線リンクの効率を上げることができる。
Claims (2)
- 移動局によって送信される上りユーザデータの伝送速度を制御する伝送速度制御方法であって、
無線回線制御局が、複数のセルとの間で無線リンクを設定しているソフトハンドオーバー状態の移動局に対して割り当てるべき第1のテンポラリ識別子と、1つのセルとの間でのみ無線リンクを設定している非ソフトハンドオーバー状態の移動局に対して割り当てるべき第2のテンポラリ識別子とを管理しており、
前記無線回線制御局が、前記移動局から取得する受信状態の測定報告に基づいて、前記移動局が前記ソフトハンドオーバー状態と前記非ソフトハンドオーバー状態との間で遷移することを決定する工程と、
前記無線回線制御局が、前記遷移の決定に基づいて、前記第1のテンポラリ識別子又は前記第2のテンポラリ識別子を割り当てる工程と、
前記移動局との間で無線リンクを設定しているセルが、前記ソフトハンドオーバー状態において、前記第1のテンポラリ識別子を用いて前記上りユーザデータの伝送速度を制御し、前記非ソフトハンドオーバー状態において、前記第2のテンポラリ識別子を用いて前記上りユーザデータの伝送速度を制御する工程とを有しており、
前記第1のテンポラリ識別子又は前記第2のテンポラリ識別子の一方は、複数の移動局に共通の共通絶対伝送速度の送信に用いられ、
前記第1のテンポラリ識別子又は前記第2のテンポラリ識別子の他方は、移動局に個別の個別絶対伝送速度の送信に用いられることを特徴とする伝送速度制御方法。 - 移動局によって送信される上りユーザデータの伝送速度を制御する移動通信システムで用いられる無線回線制御局であって、
複数のセルとの間で無線リンクを設定しているソフトハンドオーバー状態の移動局に対して割り当てるべき第1のテンポラリ識別子と、1つのセルとの間でのみ無線リンクを設定している非ソフトハンドオーバー状態の移動局に対して割り当てるべき第2のテンポラリ識別子とを管理するテンポラリ識別子管理部と、
前記移動局から取得する受信状態の測定報告に基づいて、前記移動局が前記ソフトハンドオーバー状態と前記非ソフトハンドオーバー状態との間で遷移することを決定する遷移決定部と、
前記遷移の決定に基づいて、前記移動局に対して、前記前記第1のテンポラリ識別子又は前記第2のテンポラリ識別子を割り当てるテンポラリ識別子割り当て部とを具備しており、
前記第1のテンポラリ識別子又は前記第2のテンポラリ識別子の一方は、複数の移動局に共通の共通絶対伝送速度の送信に用いられ、
前記第1のテンポラリ識別子又は前記第2のテンポラリ識別子の他方は、移動局に個別の個別絶対伝送速度の送信に用いられることを特徴とする無線回線制御局。
