Description
また、本発明によれば、画素電極の形成時にマスクずれ等あっても、走査線が剥き出しになって液晶分子の配向に影響を与えることを防止できる。なお、本願発明によれば、突き出し部においてのみ走査線及び信号線と重複するため、画素電極は信号線側においては重複せず、クロストークを低減することができる。

Claims (5)
- マトリクス状に配置された信号線及び走査線により区画されるそれぞれの位置に設けられた透過部又は透過部と反射部に位置する画素電極と、反射部に位置する反射板とを備えた第1基板と、
表面に共通電極が形成された第2基板と、
前記第1基板及び第2基板上に積層された垂直配向膜と、
前記両基板間に配置された誘電異方性が負の液晶層と、
を有する半透過型液晶表示パネルにおいて、
前記反射部には前記反射板の下側に補助容量部が形成され、前記補助容量部は補助容量線を含み、該補助容量線は前記反射板の下部から前記画素電極における前記反射部と前記透過部との間に設けられたスリットまで延びており、
前記画素電極は、平面視した状態で、前記透過部において前記走査線に沿う外縁が前記走査線に重複するとともに、前記外縁の両端が前記信号線と重複する位置まで突き出しており、かつ突き出し部を除く部分が前記信号線と重複しないことを特徴とする半透過型液晶表示パネル。 - 前記画素電極と前記走査線との重複部分は、少なくとも1.5μmの巾を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の半透過型液晶表示パネル。
- 前記画素電極と前記信号線との重複部分は、少なくとも1.5μmの巾を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の半透過型液晶表示パネル。
- 前記画素電極及び反射板は前記第1基板の表示領域全体にわたって設けられた層間絶縁膜上に設けられているとともに、前記第2基板の反射部に対応する位置にはトップコート層が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3に記載の半透過型液晶表示パネル。
- 前記透過部の画素電極はスリットにより複数の領域に区画されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4に記載の半透過型液晶表示パネル。
