Claims (9)
- 対象物(18)内の領域(54)を走査するトモシンセシス・システム(50)であって、
複数の位置(70)を横断して複数の走査方向(72)をもたらすように構成された放射線源(12)と、
前記対象物により減弱された放射線ビーム(20)から前記対象物(18)内の領域(54)の複数の投影画像を収集するように構成された検出器(22)とを備え、
前記検出器が前記線源(12)に対して離間した関係で且つ前記対象物から所定距離の位置に固定され、
前記放射線源(12)は、前記複数の位置(70)において、焦点から広がる円錐状ビームにより、前記対象物(18)内の領域(54)に対応する前記検出器(22)上の領域を照射し、
前記複数の位置の各々がそれぞれの走査方向に対応し、前記複数の走査方向が、第1の軸(60)に沿った走査方向と該第1の軸を横断する第2の軸(62)に沿った走査方向とを少なくとも含み、
前記複数の位置(70)のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記第1の軸(60)に沿った方向の前記検出器(22)の縁部(64)により定められ、前記対象物(18)内の前記領域(54)が、前記検出器(22)を越えて延びている、システム。 - 前記複数の位置(70)のうちの少なくとも2つは、前記検出器(22)の2つの縁部(64)により定められる請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の走査方向(72)は、それぞれ前記検出器(22)の複数の所定の寸法により定められる複数の領域を包含する方向を含み、前記複数の所定の寸法は、前記検出器の高さ(68)及び幅(66)を少なくとも含む請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 前記検出器(22)は、該検出器の複数の所定の収集ポイント(78)において前記複数の投影画像を収集するように構成されている請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の所定の収集ポイント(78)は、前記検出器の中心(82)と前記検出器の縁部(64)とにより定められる異なる距離におけるポイントを少なくとも含む請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の所定の収集ポイント(78)は、前記検出器(22)の外側の複数のポイントを少なくとも含み、前記検出器(22)の外側の複数のポイントが、前記第2の軸(62)に沿った走査方向の間前記放射線源の位置(70)に対応する請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記検出器(22)は、複数の方向を横断するように構成されており、該複数の方向の各々は、前記放射線源(12)の複数の位置(70)の各々にそれぞれ対応する請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記放射線源(12)は、前記複数の位置(70)において、前記対象物(18)内の領域(54)に対応する前記検出器(22)上の領域の全体を照射する請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のシステム。
- 前記放射線源(12)と前記検出器(22)に電力及び制御信号を供給し、前記検出器(22)内で生成される信号の収集し、収集された信号をデジタル信号に変換するシステム制御装置(24)と、
前記システム制御装置(24)から前記デジタル信号を受け、前記デジタル信号を再構成した画像をディスプレイに出力するコンピュータ(36)と、
を備え、
前記放射線源(12)が、前記第1の軸(60)に沿った方向において、前記検出器(22)の一方の縁部(64)から前記検出器(22)の他方の縁部(64)の間のみで移動する請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載のシステム。
