本発明の医療器具は、糖、より一般的には炭水化物、及び/又はゼラチンを含み、これらを用いて、ステントを所望の体内位置に搬送する間、ステントをバルーン上に保持する。本発明の医療器具の処理に好適な他の化合物には、生分解ポリマーや、体内の流体に溶けるポリマーが含まれる。医療器具の内側部分及び/又は外側部分は、化合物でコーティングしたり、化合物を含浸させたりしてもよい。搬送中に医療器具をバルーン上に保持するために、機械的に保持する器具を使用することも可能である。
Claims (33)
- 基端部と先端部とを有し、かつ、非拡張状態と拡張状態との間において構成可能なステントを備えるステントアセンブリであって、同ステントは、
複数の第1ステント部材と、同第1ステント部材の各々は、ステントの非拡張状態及び拡張状態においてステントの長手方向に配向され、
複数の第2ステント部材と、同第2ステント部材の各々は、ステントの非拡張状態においてステントの長手方向に配向され、さらに、ステントの拡張状態において周方向に配向され、
ステントの基端部から先端部まで延びる第1のステントバックボーンとを備え、同第1のステントバックボーンは、ステントの非拡張状態及び拡張状態においてステントの長手方向の軸線に対して平行をなしており、かつ、ステントの押圧性を向上させるために、前記第1ステント部材および第2ステント部材よりも大きい壁厚を有し、
前記複数の第1ステント部材及び複数の第2ステント部材は、互いに連結され、さらに同複数の第2ステント部材は、前記第1のステントバックボーンに連結される、ステントアセンブリ。 - 長手方向において近接する各第1ステント部材の少なくとも一部は互いに離間する請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- プッシュワイヤをさらに備え、同プッシュワイヤは基端部と先端部とを有し、同先端部はステントの基端部に離脱可能に係合され、第1のバックボーンはプッシュワイヤの先端部から延びる請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- プッシュワイヤは熱伝導性である請求項3に記載のアセンブリ。
- プッシュワイヤは導電性である請求項3に記載のアセンブリ。
- プッシュワイヤは、分離可能な接合部においてステントに対して離脱可能に係合され、分離可能な接合部が分離されると、ステントはプッシュワイヤから解放される請求項3に記載のアセンブリ。
- 分離可能な接合部の少なくとも一部は生体吸収性を備え、その部分が生体内に吸収されると、ステントはプッシュワイヤから解放される請求項3に記載のアセンブリ。
- 分離可能な接合部は、電食、力学的作用、水圧、熱エネルギー、電磁エネルギー、及びこれらの組合せから選択された少なくとも1つの機構により分離される請求項6に記載のアセンブリ。
- 配置前の形状、初期配置の形状、及び完全配置の形状を有し、配置前の形状において非拡張状態のステントはプッシュワイヤと機械的に連通し、初期配置の形状において拡張状態のステントはプッシュワイヤと機械的に連通し、完全配置の形状において拡張状態のステントはプッシュワイヤから機械的に離脱する請求項3に記載のアセンブリ。
- カテーテルをさらに備え、同カテーテルはカテーテルシャフトを備え、同カテーテルシャフトはルーメンを構成し、同カテーテルシャフトはさらにカテーテルの先端部において開口部を構成し、配置前の形状においてステント及びプッシュワイヤはルーメン内に移動可能に収容される請求項9に記載のアセンブリ。
- 初期配置の形状において、プッシュワイヤの少なくとも一部及びステントはルーメンから解放される請求項10に記載のアセンブリ。
- アセンブリが配置前の形状から初期配置の形状へ展開されると、プッシュワイヤの少なくとも一部及びステントはカテーテルの先端部において開口部を通して進められる請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- ステントは、治療薬にて被覆されたステントである請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- ステントは、少なくとも部分的に形状記憶材料から構成される請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- ステントは、少なくとも部分的にニチノールから構成される請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 第1のステントバックボーンは、少なくとも1つのワイヤからなる請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 互いに連結された複数の第1ステント部材及び第2ステント部材は、少なくとも1つのワイヤからなる請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- ステントは、少なくとも部分的にステント材料からなる管材から構成される請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 近接する互いに連結された第1ステント部材及び第2ステント部材は、閉ループを形成する請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 互いに連結された複数の第1ステント部材及び第2ステント部材のうち少なくとも1つは、少なくとも1個の湾曲状をなす部分を備える請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 互いに連結された複数の第1ステント部材及び第2ステント部材のうち少なくとも1つは、少なくとも1個の直線状をなす部分を備える請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 第1のステントバックボーンは、少なくとも1個の湾曲状をなす部分を備える請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 第1のステントバックボーンは、少なくとも1個の直線状をなす部分を備える請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- ステントは、少なくとも部分的に放射線不透過性である請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- プッシュワイヤの少なくとも一部は放射線不透過性である請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 分離可能な接合部は、少なくとも部分的に放射線不透過性である請求項6に記載のアセンブリ。
- 少なくとも1つの放射線不透過性マーカーをさらに備えることと、同マーカーは少なくとも1つのプッシュワイヤ、第1のバックボーン、少なくとも1つの第1ステント部材、及び少なくとも1つの第2ステント部材に対して係合される請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 放射線不透過性マーカーは複数の放射線不透過性マーカーからなる請求項27に記載のアセンブリ。
- ステントは、
ステント材料からなる管材を提供する工程と、
ステント材料からなる管材を所定のパターンに従って切断する工程と、所定のパターンは、第1のステントバックボーン、互いに連結された複数の第1ステント部材及び第2ステント部材を含むことと、
第1のステントバックボーンの位置に対応するステント材料からなる管材の領域をマスキングする工程と、
ステントにおける少なくとも1つの非マスキング領域から所定の量の材料を除去する工程とからなる方法により形成される請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。 - ステントにおける少なくとも1つの非マスキング領域から所定の量の材料を除去する工程は、
同領域をマイクロブラストすることにより、第1のステントバックボーンの所定の厚さ、並びに互いに連結された複数の第1ステント部材及び第2ステント部材のそれぞれの所定の厚さに構成する工程をさらに備える請求項29に記載のアセンブリ。 - ステントにおける少なくとも1つの非マスキング領域から所定の量の材料を除去する工程は、
同領域を電解研磨することにより、第1のステントバックボーンの所定の厚さ、並びに互いに連結された複数の第1ステント部材及び第2ステント部材をそれぞれの所定の厚さに構成する工程をさらに備える請求項29に記載のアセンブリ。 - カテーテルの少なくとも一部は少なくとも部分的に放射線不透過性である請求項10に記載のアセンブリ。
- 少なくとも1つの放射線不透過性マーカーをさらに備え、同マーカーはカテーテルの先端部に近接する請求項32に記載のアセンブリ。
