まず、本実施の形態に係る通信システムの構成について、図1を参照して説明する。
実施の形態2に係る通信システム30は、図12に示すように、無線LAN基地局装置600と、無線LAN基地局装置600との間に無線LAN基地局装置600の基地局MACアドレスと自身の制御局MACアドレスとにより定まる、すなわち定義されるデータトンネルを形成しこのデータトンネルを用いて通信を行う無線LAN基地局制御装置としてのAP制御装置500と、無線LAN基地局装置600にアクセスして通信を行う通信端末装置300とを備える。そして、AP制御装置500は、通信システム30から見て外側にある複数のネットワークシステム(ここでは、コアネットワーク40〜60)と接続されている。
(1)実施の形態1および実施の形態2においては、AP制御装置と無線LAN基地局装置とから構成される通信システムは、データリンク層によりAP制御装置と無線LAN基地局装置との間が直接的に繋がっている場合について説明を行った。しかしながら、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、AP制御装置と無線LAN基地局装置との間がいくつかのルータを介して接続、すなわちネットワーク層で接続されていてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 受信する下りのブロードキャストフレーム又はマルチキャストフレームのデータリンク層のヘッダに基づき無線LAN用ヘッダを形成し無線LAN用フレームに変換するフレーム変換手段と、宛先アドレスをブロードキャストアドレス又はマルチキャストアドレスとする伝送用ヘッダを形成し当該伝送用ヘッダにより前記無線LAN用フレームをカプセル化するフレーム形成手段と、前記フレーム形成手段にて形成されたフレームを送信する送信手段と、を具備する無線LAN基地局制御装置と、
受信する前記フレームから前記伝送用ヘッダを外した前記無線LAN用フレームのヘッダ部に自装置に割り当てられたBSSIDを付加するヘッダ修正手段と、前記ヘッダ部に前記BSSIDが付加された前記無線LAN用フレームを送信する無線LAN用フレーム送信手段と、を具備する無線LAN基地局装置と、
を具備することを特徴とする通信システム。 - 前記フレーム形成手段は、前記ブロードキャストフレームが伝送されてきたネットワークの網識別情報に応じて、前記無線LAN基地局制御装置と無線LAN基地局装置との間に形成される仮想網の識別情報を前記伝送用ヘッダに付加することを特徴とする請求項1記載の通信システム。
- 前記ヘッダ修正手段は、受信する前記フレームに付加されている前記仮想網識別情報に応じた前記BSSIDを付加することを特徴とする請求項2記載の通信システム。
