Claims (5)
- 被溶解材の予熱タワーと、該予熱タワーの直下に設置されて前記予熱タワーから前記被溶解材の供給を受ける溶解用坩堝炉と、該溶解用坩堝炉から溶湯の供給を受ける保持用坩堝炉とを備え、前記被溶解材を収容して予熱するための縦筒状のインナーケースを前記予熱タワー内に配設し、前記予熱タワー内周面と前記インナーケース外周面との間に燃焼排ガスのガス通路を形成し、前記ガス通路の上端を閉塞体で閉塞し、該閉塞体よりも下方に位置する前記インナーケースの上端側周壁部にケース排気孔を設け、前記インナーケースの上端側開口を被溶解材の投入口を兼ねる前記燃焼排ガスの排気口とし、前記燃焼排ガスは前記ケース排気孔を通じて前記排気口から排気されるように構成された溶解保持炉により被溶解材を溶解させる方法であって、
前記インナーケースの下端側を前記溶解用坩堝炉の溶湯に浸漬させた状態で、前記燃焼排ガスを前記ガス通路から前記インナーケースの前記ケース排気孔を通って外部に排気することにより、前記インナーケース内において、減圧下に被溶解材を溶解させることを特徴とする被溶解材の溶解方法。 - 前記インナーケースの下端側を耐火材で形成する請求項1に記載の被溶解材の溶解方法。
- 前記インナーケースの下端側を耐火材で被覆する請求項1に記載の被溶解材の溶解方法。
- 前記燃焼排ガスは前記予熱タワー内で滞留した後に前記ケース排気孔から排気される請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の被溶解材の溶解方法。
- 前記インナーケースをバイブレーターで振動させることにより、前記燃焼排ガスの加熱によって生成された被溶解材の団塊に振動衝撃を与える請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の被溶解材の溶解方法。
