Claims (10)
- 内燃機関から排出されるガスをサンプリングし、そのサンプルガスに含まれる粒子状物質中の、揮発性有機成分が付着しているかまたは付着していないスートに電荷を付与し、スートの電荷量を計測する粒子状物質測定方法であって、
スートに電荷を付与する前に、サンプルガスに含まれる粒子状物質中のNuclei Mode粒子を除去するかまたは揮発させ、
前記スートの電荷量の計測値からスートの表面積を求め、表面積に換算係数を乗ずることによりスートの質量濃度を算出することを特徴とする粒子状物質測定方法。 - 前記Nuclei Mode粒子は、スートの周囲に付着せずに存在する液状HCである請求項1に記載の粒子状物質測定方法。
- 前記Nuclei Mode粒子を、加熱によって揮発させる請求項1または2に記載の粒子状物質測定方法。
- サンプルガスに含まれる粒子状物質中の揮発性有機成分を測定するステップを含む請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の粒子状物質測定方法。
- サンプルガスに含まれる粒子状物質中の揮発性有機成分を測定するステップにおいて、サンプルガスを、このサンプルガス中の揮発性有機成分が揮発しない低温状態とした後、水素炎イオン化検出器によって測定して得た検出値と、揮発性有機成分が揮発する高温状態とした後、水素炎イオン化検出器によって測定して得た検出値とから、サンプルガス中の揮発性有機成分濃度を導出する請求項4に記載の粒子状物質測定方法。
- 内燃機関から排出されるガスをサンプリングしてサンプルガスを得るサンプリング手段と、サンプルガスに含まれる粒子状物質中の、揮発性有機成分が付着しているかまたは付着していないスートに電荷を付与する帯電手段と、スートの電荷量を計測する計測手段とを備えた粒子状物質測定装置であって、
帯電手段に送られる前のサンプルガスに含まれる粒子状物質中のNuclei Mode粒子を除去するかまたは揮発させるように構成されており、
前記スートの電荷量の計測値からスートの表面積を求め、表面積に換算係数を乗ずることによりスートの質量濃度を算出する演算処理部を備えたことを特徴とする粒子状物質測定装置。 - 前記Nuclei Mode粒子は、スートの周囲に付着せずに存在する液状HCである請求項6に記載の粒子状物質測定装置。
- 前記Nuclei Mode粒子を加熱によって揮発させる加熱手段を備えた請求項6または7に記載の粒子状物質測定装置。
- サンプルガスに含まれる粒子状物質中の揮発性有機成分を測定する揮発性有機成分測定手段を備えた請求項6〜8のいずれかに記載の粒子状物質測定装置。
- 揮発性有機成分測定手段が、2つの水素炎イオン化検出器を有し、一方の水素炎イオン化検出器によって、揮発性有機成分が揮発する高温状態となったサンプルガスを測定し、他方の水素炎イオン化検出器によって、揮発性有機成分が揮発しない低温状態となったサンプルガスを測定するように構成されている請求項9に記載の粒子状物質測定装置。
