Abstract
【解決手段】ハニカム構造体は、多孔質セラミックスで構成され単一の方向に延びて列設された複数の隔壁により区画された複数のセルを備えたハニカム構造体であって、水銀圧入法により測定された前記隔壁の気孔直径の平均値が1μm〜20μmであり、前記気孔直径を常用対数で表した場合の気孔径分布の標準偏差が0.20以下であり、前記気孔直径が2μm未満の気孔の全気孔に対する割合が10体積%以下とされている。

Claims (3)
- 炭化珪素多孔質セラミックスで構成され単一の方向に延びて列設された複数の隔壁により区画された複数のセルを備え、水銀圧入法により測定された前記隔壁の気孔直径の平均値が1μm〜15μmであり、かつ、前記気孔直径を常用対数で表した場合の気孔径分布の標準偏差が0.20以下であるハニカム構造体であって、
前記気孔直径が2μm未満の気孔の全気孔に対する割合が5体積%以下である
ことを特徴とするハニカム構造体。 - 前記隔壁に、白金、パラジウム、及びロジウムの少なくとも何れか一つの金属を含む触媒が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハニカム構造体。
- 前記隔壁に、アルカリ金属及びアルカリ土類金属の少なくとも何れか一つの金属を含む触媒が担持されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のハニカム構造体。
