Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle seat device having nut members welded to front and rear ends of a rail.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Vehicle seats are bolted to the flanges at the front and rear ends of the upper rail that is slidable in the front-rear direction relative to the lower rail fixed to the floor, or bolted to the rail fixed to the floor. Is done.
To mount the finished seat on the front and rear flanges of the upper rail that extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and to fasten it with bolts, tighten the bolt with an impact wrench from diagonally above and behind the seat due to space constraints. It is common.
[0003]
In order to fix the seat to the upper rail using such a limited space, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-1189 proposes to provide flange portions at the front and rear ends of the upper rail. An example is shown in FIG. The upper rail 1 has a shape in which two plates are formed in a substantially inverted T-shaped cross section and extend in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. The lower rail 2 has a main body portion having a substantially U-shaped cross section and a guide portion 4 that receives the shoe portion 3 of the upper rail 1. The lower rail 2 is bolted to the floor 5.
[0004]
The opposing vertical wall portions 6 and 6 of the upper rail 1 have bending portions 7 and 7 formed by bending the front and rear end portions thereof in one direction, and both bending portions are overlapped to form a flange portion 8. A screw hole 9 for receiving a bolt is provided at the center of the flange portion 8.
In order to fix the seat (not shown) to the upper rail 1, means for aligning the bracket of the seat with the flange portion 8 and screwing the bolt into the screw hole 9 is used.
[0005]
Apart from this, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-99855 proposes that the top portions of the vertical wall portions 6 and 6 of the upper rail 1 are bent horizontally to form flange portions 8 and screw holes 9 can be formed in the horizontal flange portions. .
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional example described above, the screw hole drilled in the flange portion exists at a position offset from the vertical wall portion passing through the center of the upper rail.
For this reason, when an external force is applied to the seat, the external force causes bending and twisting of the flange portion and the vertical wall portion, which may cause deformation of the flange portion and change the posture of the seat.
[0007]
Therefore, this invention makes it the subject which should be solved to eliminate the malfunction of the prior art mentioned above.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention basically arranges the center of the screw hole of the nut member so as to coincide with the center of the vertical wall portion of the rail, and the nut member is arranged at the step of the end surface portion of the rail. Adopt technical means of welding to the part. Preferably, the rail member is an upper rail or a slide rail.
[0009]
The adoption of such a basic means is that even if an external force acts on the seat and this external force is transmitted to the nut member, the screw hole center of the nut member coincides with the center of the vertical wall portion. Is received as a buckling load of the vertical wall, and the nut member is not bent or twisted. Therefore, the strength of the sheet can be maintained high.
[0010]
According to the present invention, in the vehicle seat device that bolts the vehicle seat to the rail, the step formed on the end surface of the pair of vertical wall portions facing each other of the rail, the seat sitting on the step and welded to the rail There is provided a vehicle seat device in which a screw hole center of the nut member is directed to a center between the vertical wall portions of the rail.
[0011]
Preferably, the rail is an upper rail that is slidable with respect to the lower rail fixed to the floor, and the nut members are disposed on the front and rear end surfaces of the upper rail.
[0012]
More preferably, the nut member has a pair of fin portions that sandwich both outer side surfaces of the upper rail. The nut member can be arranged to be inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, and a part of the top wall portion of the upper rail can be extended to the upper surface of the nut member.
[0013]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
As shown in FIG. 1, a slide rail or upper rail 10 is formed by press-molding a steel plate, and has a substantially U-shaped cross section provided integrally with opposite vertical wall portions 11 and 11 and lower portions of the vertical wall portions 11 and 11. The sliding parts 12 and 12 hold a shoe or a bearing and are fitted to the guide part of the lower rail (see FIG. 4). Step portions 13 and 13 are formed at front and rear end portions of the vertical wall portions 11 and 11 of the upper rail 10. A nut member 14 is seated on the step portions 13 and 13, and the nut member 14 is welded to the upper rail 10.
[0014]
The nut member 14 includes a rectangular main body portion 16 having a screw hole 15 and a pair of spaced apart fin portions 17 and 17 extending from both sides of the main body portion 16 along the outer surface of the vertical wall portions 11 and 11. Become. The screw hole 15 is formed at the center of the main body 16.
The nut member 14 is seated on the front and rear end surfaces of the upper rail 10 so that the lower surface and the rear surface of the main body portion 16 are seated on the step portions 13 and 13, and the fin portions 17 and 17 sandwich the outer side surfaces of the vertical wall portions 11 and 11. Install. Next, the nut member 14 is welded to the upper rail 10.
[0015]
If the center of the screw hole 15 of the nut member 14 coincides with the center of the pair of vertical wall portions 11 and 11 and the interval between the vertical wall portions 11 and 11 is large enough to receive the screw portion of the bolt, the main body The screw portion of the bolt for attaching the sheet may extend from the screw hole 15 of the portion 16. If this interval is small, the main body 16 is made large enough to receive the threaded portion of the bolt.
Since the external force acting on the seat is directed to the center between the vertical wall portions 11 and 11 and is received by the step portions 13 and 13, the nut member 14 is not bent or twisted with respect to the upper rail 10 and is extremely advantageous in terms of strength.
[0016]
In the example shown in FIG. 1, the stepped portions 13 and 13 are formed by a plane that is horizontal to the floor in the longitudinal direction of the upper rail 10 and a plane that is perpendicular to the plane. However, the horizontal plane is inclined as shown in FIG. 2. It is good also as a taper surface. In this example, the nut member 14 is welded so as to be inclined with respect to the upper rail 10, so that the nut member 14 can be screwed into the nut member 14 from obliquely above.
[0017]
In the example shown in FIG. 3, a part 18 of the top wall portion of the upper rail 10 is extended on the upper surface of the main body portion 16 of the nut member 14. In this example, the main body portion 16 is sandwiched between the upper and lower portions, and a larger number of welding surfaces between the nut member 14 and the upper rail 10 can be secured.
[0018]
2 and 3 also, the center of the screw hole 15 of the nut member 14 is directed to the center between the vertical wall portions 11 and 11 of the upper rail 10, and even if an external force acts through the seat, the nut member 14 and the upper rail are not bent or twisted. Further, since the nut member 14 is in contact with the upper rail 10 through many surfaces, no local stress is generated.
[Brief description of the drawings]
FIG. 1 is a partial perspective view of an example of the present invention.
FIG. 2 is a front view showing an example in which a nut member is obliquely attached to an upper rail.
FIG. 3 is a partial perspective view showing an example in which a part of the top wall portion of the upper rail is extended to the upper surface of the nut member.
