【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、略水平方向の回転軸を中心に回転自在に配設したドラム内で洗濯物を洗濯、すすぎ、脱水するドラム式洗濯機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種のドラム式洗濯機は図8に示すように構成していた。以下、その構成について説明する。

図8に示すように、回転ドラム1は、外周部に多数の通水孔2を全面に設け、外槽3内に回転自在に配設している。回転ドラム1の回転中心に回転軸4の一端を略水平方向に固定し、回転軸4の他端に従動プーリー5を固定している。第1のモータ(駆動モータ)6は、回転ドラム1を第1の回転数N1(たとえば、53rpm)で回転させて、洗濯またはすすぎをするものであり、第2のモータ(駆動モータ)7は、回転ドラム1を第2の回転数N2(たとえば、1000rpm)で回転させて脱水する。

これら第1のモータ6および第2のモータ7は、それぞれベルト8、9を介して従動プーリー5に連結している。従動プーリー5は、2種の減速比を有しており、第1のモータ6をベルト8を介して減速比が大きい従動プーリー5aと連結し、第2のモータ7をベルト9を介して減速比が小さい従動プーリー5bと連結している。

外槽3の底部側にヒータ15を設けて外槽3内の洗濯水を加熱し、さらに排水用の排水ホース16の一端を接続し、排水ホース16の他端を、内部に着脱自在に異物ストッパー17を有する略T字状のジョイント18に接続し、略T字状のジョイント18の他端を排水ポンプ19と接続し、外槽3内の洗濯水を異物ストッパー17を介して排水するようにしている。

給水弁20は外槽3内に水を給水するものである。制御装置21は、第1のモータ6、第2のモータ7、ヒータ16、排水ポンプ19、給水弁20などの動作を制御し、洗濯、すすぎ、脱水などの一連の行程を逐次制御する。

略T字状のジョイント18は、図9に示すように、排水ホース16が接続される排水ホース接続部18aと、排水ポンプ19につながる排水ポンプ用ホース22が接続される排水ポンプ用ホース接続部18bは略直行している。また、異物ストッパー17の着脱部17aは、略T字状のジョイント18のジョイント着脱部18cに回転着脱自在に、排水ポンプ用ホース接続部18bと略同心上に設けている。

上記構成において動作を説明すると、蓋14を開いて回転ドラム1内に洗濯物を投入し、電源スイッチ(図示せず)をオンした後、制御装置21に設けたスタートスイッチ(図示せず)を操作して運転を開始すると、給水弁20が動作して給水および洗剤投入を行い、水位検知手段(図示せず)により所定の水位を検知すると給水を停止し、第1の駆動モータ6を駆動する。洗濯行程では、洗濯物に水が含まれるため補給水しながら、回転ドラム1は第1の駆動モータ6によって第1の回転数N1で回転駆動され、回転ドラム1内の洗濯物は持ち上げられて水面上に落下される。

このとき、ヒータ15に通電して外槽3内の洗濯水をほぼ一定の温度に制御しながら加熱する。洗濯行程が終了すると、排水ポンプ19が動作して外槽3内の洗濯水を排水する。このとき、洗濯水は矢印aのように略T字状のジョイント18内に流れ込み、矢印bのように複数個の細い略円筒状のボス17dの間を抜け、水抜き用の穴17cから流れるものと、矢印cのように略T字状のジョイント18の内壁と円盤部17bの外周との間を流れるものとに別れる。その後、それらの流れは一つになり、矢印dのように排水ポンプ19に流れ込む。すすぎ行程においても洗濯行程と同様の動作を行う。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような従来の構成では、異物ストッパー17は、先端側に略T字状のジョイント18の内径より径小で、水抜き用の穴17cを設けている円盤部17bを有し、異物ストッパー17の着脱部17aと円盤部17bとは、複数個の細い略円筒状のボス17dで連結されているものであるため、排水時、洗濯水に爪楊枝や釘などの異物が混入していた場合、水抜き用の穴17cや略T字状のジョイント18の内壁と円盤部17bの外周との隙間から排水ポンプ19内に流れ込んでしまうという問題を有していた。

また、洗濯水にリントや長短の毛髪などが混入していた場合は、水抜き用の穴17c同士間や複数個の細い略円筒状のボス17dにリントや長短の毛髪などが絡み付き、そのリントや長短の毛髪などが徐々に成長していき、排水ポンプ19に絡み付いてしまったりして、排水ポンプ19がロックしてしまい、排水をしなくなるといった問題を有していた。

本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するもので、排水ポンプをロックさせる爪楊枝や釘などの異物は排水ポンプへ流れ込むのを防ぎ、リントや長短の毛髪などは異物ストッパーに絡み付くのを防ぐことにより、排水ポンプのロックをなくし、排水をしなくなるのを防止することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記目的を達成するために、外槽の底部に排水ホースを連結し、外槽内の洗濯水を排水ポンプにより強制排水し、排水ホースの接続部と排水ポンプの接続部が略直行し、かつ排水ポンプの接続部と略同心上に着脱自在に異物ストッパーを内部に有する略T字状のジョイントを設ける。異物ストッパーの先端側には略T字状のジョイントの内径より径小の円盤部を設け、異物ストッパーの着脱部と円盤部とはその略中央部より放射状に延びた複数本のリブで連結したものである。

本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、略水平方向に回転軸を有する回転ドラムと、この回転ドラムを外包した外槽と、前記回転ドラムを回転させる駆動モータと、前記外槽を主体とする揺動体を揺動可能に収容したボデーと、前記外槽の底部に連結した排水ホースと、前記外槽内の洗濯水を強制排水する排水ポンプと、前記排水ホースの接続部と前記排水ポンプの接続部が略直行しかつ前記排水ポンプの接続部と略同心上に着脱自在に異物ストッパーを内部に有する略T字状のジョイントとを備え、前記異物ストッパーの先端側には前記略T字状のジョイントの内径より径小の円盤部を設け、前記異物ストッパーの着脱部と前記円盤部とはその略中央部より放射状に延びた複数本のリブで連結したものであり、排水ポンプをロックさせる爪楊枝や釘などの異物が排水ポンプへ流れ込むのを防ぎ、リントや長短の毛髪などは、放射状に延びた複数本のリブに引っかかった場合でも、放射状のリブによる乱流により、長い毛髪をリブから浮かすことができて、流し出すことができ、異物ストッパーに絡み付くのを防ぎ、排水ポンプのロックをなくすことにより、排水をしなくなるのを防止することができる。

以上のように本発明の請求項1に記載の発明によれば、略水平方向に回転軸を有する回転ドラムと、この回転ドラムを外包した外槽と、前記回転ドラムを回転させる駆動モータと、前記外槽を主体とする揺動体を揺動可能に収容したボデーと、前記外槽の底部に連結した排水ホースと、前記外槽内の洗濯水を強制排水する排水ポンプと、前記排水ホースの接続部と前記排水ポンプの接続部が略直行しかつ前記排水ポンプの接続部と略同心上に着脱自在に異物ストッパーを内部に有する略T字状のジョイントとを備え、前記異物ストッパーの先端側には前記略T字状のジョイントの内径より径小の円盤部を設け、前記異物ストッパーの着脱部と前記円盤部とはその略中央部より放射状に延びた複数本のリブで連結したから、排水ポンプをロックさせる爪楊枝や釘などの異物は排水ポンプへ流れ込むのを防ぎ、リントや長短の毛髪などは、放射状に延びた複数本のリブに引っかかった場合でも、放射状のリブによる乱流により、長い毛髪をリブから浮かすことができて、流し出すことができ、異物ストッパーに絡み付くのを防ぎ、排水ポンプのロックをなくすことにより、排水をしなくなるのを防止することができる。
