【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、合成樹脂発泡シー
トから一体に成形された食品用容器、主に蓋体と組合せ
て使用される食品用容器に関するものである。

【従来の技術と発明が解決しようとする課題】従来よ
り、肉、魚、野菜等の生鮮食品、弁当、寿司、そば、煮
物その他の惣菜等の各種食品の容器として、合成樹脂製
の容器、中でも合成樹脂発泡シートから成形された容器
が多用されている。この容器の使用形態としては、食品
を収納した状態でラップフィルムにより被覆して包装す
るほか、特に弁当や寿司あるいは惣菜等の食品の種類等
によっては、透明な合成樹脂製の成形蓋を被せて包装す
ることも多くなっている。

なることのない食品用容器を提供するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記の課題を解決する
本発明の食品用容器は、合成樹脂発泡シートから一体成
形されてなり、底部に連続する側壁部の上端に外方へ張
り出した断面略伏凹状をなすフランジ状縁部を有してな
る平面略多角形の容器であって、前記側壁部が外方へ傾
斜するとともに容器の各角部において隣接する両側壁部
がアール曲面で屈曲して連続しており、該屈曲連続部分
が上端側ほど漸次大きく外方へリブ状に膨出するととも
に、その上端部において下部より傾斜度が大きくされて
該上端が前記フランジ状縁部に連続せしめられ、各角部
におけるフランジ状縁部の内縁が角部外縁に向って凹設
せしめられて、該凹設部分が角部外縁に向って略先細状
をなしていることを特徴とする。
