Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for forming a grip for a golf club in which a molded article is compounded with rubber to form a predetermined shape.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When molding a composite rubber molded product in which another molded product is inserted into a rubber molded product that forms a hollow part with a core, if the molded product is charged into a mold and injection molded with rubber, the molded product will shift Does not fit well. For this reason, a method called compression molding is used in which a molded product is inserted into a rubber plate or the like before vulcanization and the mold is clamped to finish it into a predetermined shape. There is also a method in which a rubber plate or the like before vulcanization is wound around a core to form a roughly molded shape, which is then clamped and vulcanized.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the case of compression, it is difficult to control the thickness. In particular, if the shape is not uniform, the molding pressure is different and this tendency is strong. Further, in order to secure a specified weight, it is required to accurately weigh the material. On the other hand, according to the latter method, skill is required for preliminary work and the cost is high.
The present invention solves such a problem, and enables a method of forming a grip for a golf club that can be accurately finished to a required shape and that can insert a cord neatly .
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In view of the above problems, the present invention provides a method for forming a grip for a golf club in which a cord is combined with rubber by a mold having a core and molded into a predetermined shape according to claim 1. In addition to splitting into molds, mounting the core, applying mold release treatment to the cavity surfaces of the upper and lower molds, charging and molding the rubber material, opening the mold before vulcanization and molding on the core side The present invention provides a method for forming a grip for a golf club, wherein the method is performed by preforming in which the rubber material is left, and by final molding in which a cord is inserted into the outer peripheral side of the rubber material and the mold is again clamped and vulcanized.
[0005]
In short, the present invention takes two steps of preforming and main forming when forming a cord-containing golf club grip . In this case, the pre-forming makes the grip molding accurate, and the main-forming ensures the insert of the cord , thus enhancing the performance and finish of the product.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, that explains the embodiment of the present invention with reference to FIG surface. Although FIG. 1 is an explanatory view of a molding method according to the present onset bright, the mold is divided into the upper mold 1 and lower mold 2 (which may be a lateral type), these upper mold 1 and lower mold 2 and the core (pin) 3 form a cavity in the shape of a grip. A gate 7 is formed on the mating surface of the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 so as to communicate with the cavity. The gate 7 is connected to the injection port through the runner 6. A nozzle 8 is connected to the injection port.
[0008]
As described above, when the core 3 is mounted and the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 are clamped, the rubber material 4 is injected into the cavity formed by injecting the rubber material 4 from the nozzle 8 and the rubber material 4 is added. Prior to the vulcanization, preforming is performed to open the mold once. By the way, in the case of the present invention, the surface of the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 are subjected to a mold releasability improving treatment 9, and when the mold is opened, the rubber material 4 keeps the molded shape and remains on the core 3 side. It has become. In the releasability improving process 9, a material having good releasability, for example, a Teflon resin or a silicone resin may be applied to the surface of the mold, or may be coated or affixed to the surface of the mold itself. Conceivable. Further, the mold itself may be made of a material having good releasability.
[0009]
After the mold is opened, the molded article (cord) 5 is set at a predetermined position, the mold is closed again, and vulcanization is performed at a predetermined temperature and time. Therefore, the cord 5 of this example is naturally inserted on the outer peripheral side of the rubber cloth 4. In this case, the same mold (upper mold 1 and lower mold 2) may be used for pre-molding and main molding, or different molds may be used. If the same mold is used, the mold can also be used, which is economical.
[0010]
FIG. 2 is an explanatory view of a molding method using different molds for the preliminary molding and the main molding. In this method, when the main molding is performed, the cavity is naturally enlarged by the thickness of the molded product 5. Since a certain thing is used, a highly accurate and beautiful finish can be expected. However, the mold used in the main molding does not require the runner 6 and the injection port.
[0011]
FIG. 3 is an explanatory view of a molding method showing an application example of the present invention. In this embodiment , the upper die 1 and the lower die 2 are combined with the core 3 instead of the core 3 as compared with the present invention . The difference is that the separator 10 interposed therebetween is used, the releasability improving treatment 9 is performed on the surface of the separator 10, and the original core 3 is set by removing the separator 10 before re-clamping. The reason why the separator 10 is used is that the rubber material 4 formed when the mold is opened is not adhered to the separator 10 but is left on the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2. Then, the surface of the separator 10 is subjected to the release property improving treatment 9. In the present example, the runner 6 is guided to the lower mold 2 through the separator 10 because the injection port is provided only in the upper mold 1.
[0012]
In this case, the molded product 5 is inserted on the inner peripheral side of the rubber material 4. The difference between the molds in the preliminary molding and the main molding is that the shape of the core 3 may be adjusted. Therefore, the same mold may be used in both the moldings.
[0013]
FIG. 4 is an explanatory view of a molding method showing a further application example of the above-described example . In this example, the separator 10 is merely used as a substitute for the core 3 and for separating the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 from each other. Instead, a specific shape is formed on the separator 10 and another molded product 11 is to be inserted into the missing portion of the rubber material formed before the main molding. Thereby, the material can be partially changed. FIG. 5 is a plan view of a grip formed by this molding method, in which a material having high hardness and abrasion resistance is inserted in a place where it is strongly rubbed and wear is severe.
[0014]
FIG. 6 is also an explanatory view of a molding method showing an application example of the above-mentioned invention. In this embodiment, another molded article 11 is set in place of the core 3 before the main molding. According to this, it is possible to change the material of the molded product between the surface and the inside. For example, the surface side is made to be oil-resistant and weather-resistant, or in the case of a golf ball, the core has a high rebound. It becomes possible to put materials.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the cord is uniformly and neatly provided on the grip, but the following effects can be expected.
a. Since the molding is performed using a mold, it is not necessary to examine, cut, or measure the shape of the charged material (compared to compression molding), resulting in lower costs.
b. Similarly, since the wall thickness is constant and the product weight is stable, a highly accurate product can be molded neatly.
