レン単体フィルムのラベルにあっては、これを成形型内

して成形する場合、ラベルと成形品本体の一体化にはよ
いが、ラベルにバリヤー性を付与したいとき、あるいは
ラベルに印刷を施したいとき等においては、ラベルと成
形品本体とは共にポリエチレンの樹脂であるから、その
機能を発揮させることは困難であった。その理由とし
て、印刷の流れ、ポリエチレンのバリア性が低いこ
とによるものである。そこで、ラベルを射出成形の樹脂
と異なる樹脂フィルムを多層化させる必要が生じてき
た。このような点から、ラベルとして、例えばポリエス
テル/紙/ポリエチレンのような積層フィルムを用い
る。そこで、バリヤー性と印刷適性のよい積層フィルム
のポリエステル、あるいは紙に印刷を施しておけば、成
形型内において、この積層ラベルに対して、成形品本体
となる樹脂を射出しても、印刷面への影響は少ないか
ら、この印刷が不鮮明になることはなく、射出成形の樹
脂がポリエチレンであれば、ラベルの最内層がポリエチ
レンであるため、ラベルとキャップ本体との一体化は良
好である。ところが、ラベルが積層フィルムである場
合、射出成形によって成形品本体の表面にラベルを溶着
するとき、その加熱成形温度によるポリエステル、紙の
伸度と成形品への追従力と、成形体自身のインモールド
成形後の収縮との兼ね合いにより、さらには、成形体の
表面の周縁部における補強のための段差、積み重ねた時
のずれを防ぐスタッキングのためのリブ等とにより成形
後のラベル自身、表面に皺を生じ易く、また成形品とし
ての変化も著しい。本発明は、このような点に鑑みて、
実験し研究した結果創出されたもので、その目的とする
ところは、ポリエチレン射出のインモールド成形にて成
形品の表面に積層ラベルを溶着したとき、ラベルの表面
に皺を生じないようにするとともに、キャップ本体の変
形が少なく精度のよい成形品を得ようとするにある。

ベル(a')は、キャップ本体(b')の天板(1')面に溶
着されるのであるが、このキャップ本体(b')は、その
変形を防ぎ、補強のために、天板(1')の外表面(2')
の周辺部には、段差(3')及び積み重ねた時のずれを防
ぐスタッキングのためのリブ(4')が形成されている。
積層ラベル(a')は最内層がポリエチレン層であり、射
出成形のキャップ本体(b')もポリエチレンであるた
め、積層ラベル(a')はキャップ本体(b')に溶着する
が、外層のポリエステル、紙は、射出成形時の加熱及び
射出成形後のキャップ本体(b')のポリエチレンの収
縮、段差及びリブ等によって、その表面に皺(5')を生
ずる。この皺(5')は、特に段差(3')及びリブ(4')
等付近においては顕著に表れ、また成形品としての変形
も著しいため製品としては体裁のよいものではない。

ップ(A)を成形する。この場合、ポリエチレン射出の
インモールド成形用ラベル(a)は、その最内層(1)

ぎ、補強のための段差(5)及び積み重ねた時のずれを
防ぐスタッキングのためのリブ(6)が存在していても
影響はなく、皺を生ずることはなく成形品としての変形
も少ない。成形品本体(b)のインモールド成形におい
ては、低密度ポリエチレンを用いるが、その理由として
低密度ポリエチレンのキャップ本体(a)は、嵌合性、

ルド成形体のラベルとしては極めて優れたものである。
またこの射出樹脂である低密度ポリエチレンは、嵌合
性、防湿性がよいから、ドライミルク缶等のオーバーキ
ャップとしては誠に適切なものである。
