2. Description of the Related Art As an image recording medium for radiography, a part of radiation energy is stored as an image in a stimulable phosphor layer laminated on a sheet surface, and this is scanned with excitation light to emit light from the radiation image. There is a stimulable phosphor sheet that photoelectrically detects the emitted light and reads the radiation image information by an electric signal. As a radiation cassette for imaging the breast of a subject using the stimulable phosphor sheet. For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-

[0003] These radiation cassettes include a cassette body in which a three-sided peripheral surface of a rectangular front plate and a back plate that are opposed to each other is surrounded by a pair of side plates and a bottom plate, and a housing space portion is formed inside the cassette body. A holder attached to an attachment / detachment hole opened to the other side of the cassette body facing the other side; and a recording plate having a stimulable phosphor sheet adhered to a tray, wherein the recording plate and the holder are detachably attached. In connection with accommodating the recording plate in the accommodation space from the attachment / detachment hole, the holder is attached to the attachment / detachment hole to hermetically cover the accommodation space. With the front plate of the cassette body facing the breast side, apply the bottom plate of the cassette body under the breast, and make the cassette body perpendicular to the subject, or in some cases, slightly inclined, and examine from the opposite side of the cassette body. Radiation to the breast.

In such radiation imaging, the tip of the stimulable phosphor sheet of the recording plate and the tray are set to be flush with each other, and these are brought into contact with the bottom plate of the cassette body, so that the chest wall is included as much as possible. The chest wall side has a thickness of the bottom plate of the cassette body that is unnecessary for shooting, and the breast that is not so thick as a subject straddles this bottom plate so that the cassette body can be photographed. At present, there is a considerable lack of image on the chest wall side of the breast because it is projected on the top plate, and medical X is standardized as an international standard by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
The X-ray diagnostic cassette “Mammary [X-ray] imaging cassette” stipulates that the distance between the film and the chest wall must not exceed 2 mm.

Further, in some radiation cassettes, the holder and the recording plate are connected by a long connecting hole in the insertion / removal direction and a pin fitted therein, so that the connected holder and the recording plate have a movement. However, when the radiation cassette is tilted and photographed with such a connection structure, the gap between the stimulable phosphor sheet and the bottom plate of the cassette body is further expanded, which may cause a large missing image. There is.

As described above, according to the radiation cassette of the present invention, the tip of the recording plate can be constantly brought into contact with the bottom plate of the cassette body by the elastic material fixed to the inner surface of the holder. Even if there is a manufacturing error in the components of the radiation cassette, the recording plate is inserted into the receiving space with an inclination, or the radiation cassette is inclined, the tip of the stimulable phosphor sheet may be used. Unnecessary space is not generated between the base plate and the bottom plate.
As a result, the occurrence of a missing image can be minimized mainly in photographing a breast or the like using the leading end side of the stimulable phosphor sheet.
