化情報の授受を行う際に、第1の通信局から送出された

理装置を各々の通信局と該交換伝送網との間にそれぞれ
設けて成る通信システムにおいて、 第1の通信局側に設けた第1の符号情報処理装置から、
第2の通信局側に設けた第2の符号情報処理装置へ向け
て符号化情報を伝送するとき、該第2の通信局に適合し
た符号化情報に変換する手段を該第1の符号情報処理装
置に具備し、 前記第1の符号情報処理装置は、前記第2の通信局に適
合した符号化情報を送出する際に、当該変換方式を示す
付加情報を同期信号と共に併せて送出することを特徴と
