両側から押圧力をもって接触(以下、圧接という)さ
せ、このローラを回転させることにより行なっている
が、インクジェットプリンタにおいては印字直後の印字
されたインクが未定着の状態のままでローラを当てるこ
とになりローラにインクが付着し、そのインクが記録用
紙に再付着して記録用紙を汚すので、印字面には先端の
とがった拍車を当てている。この拍車は支持部材によっ
て支持され、この支持部材ともにばねにより記録用紙に

ローラ方向に撓むように支持し、前記拍車は、前記拍車
の軸と別部品で設けられ、前記拍車の軸に対して回転自

供給される。ガイド軸3には、前記印字ヘッド1とイン
クタンク2を載せたキャリッジ4がガイドされ、図示し
ないベルト伝導機構及び駆動モータにより、前記ガイド
軸3に沿って往復駆動される。記録用紙5は、前記印字
ヘッド1に正対する位置にあるプラテン6によって裏側
から保持される。このプラテン6に対し記録用紙5は紙
押え板7によって密着される。密着された記録用紙5
は、送紙ローラ8により送られる。印字の終った記録用
紙5は排紙ローラ9によって排紙される。この排紙ロー
ラ9に対向して拍車10が設けられ、記録用紙5を圧接す
る。拍車10は、後述する軸の撓みによる圧接力で記録用
紙5に向って付勢される。前記送紙ローラ8と排紙ロー
ラ9は、紙送りモータ12により駆動される。また回復系
装置13は、前記印紙ヘッド1の吐出孔の目詰まり等を防
止するための回復動作を行ない、さらに印字を行なわな
いときの吐出孔の乾燥を防ぐためのキャップ動作を行な
う。この駆動系装置13は、回復系駆動モータ14により駆
