ワーモジュール等の電子部品の作製時に予めファストン
型端子11か、或いはディップ型端子12かに決めて別
々に作製していた。

2(A)はディップ型端子の使用状態の要部側断面図で
あり、図2(B)はファストン型端子の使用状態の要部
平面図である。図において、1は電子部品の入出力用端
子であり、その先端の両側にスリットを形成し、中央部
を略直角に切り起こして、取付基板5に直接挿入して半
田付けによって電気的接続ができるようにした2本のリ
ード部で構成したディップ型端子部2と、このディップ
型端子部2と略直角の方向にケーブル付き端子6を挿入
することによって電気的接続ができるようにしたファス
トン型端子部3が形成されている。パワーモジュール等
の電子部品4に形成されているディップ型端子2の方を
使用する場合は、2本のリード部を取付基板5に挿入し
て半田付けによって電気的接続がなされ、ファストン型
端子3の方を使用する場合は、ケーブル付き端子6を挿
入することにより電気的接続ができるようになってい
る。以上述べたように同一端子の先端部に2種類の端子
であるファストン型端子部3とディップ型端子部2を形
成したので、使用目的に応じて一つの電子部品を使い分
けることが出来る。また、入出力端子1の先端部を加工
するには、一枚の所要の平板部材を所定のプレス金型を
使用してプレス加工することにより、ファストン端子部
3とディップ端子部2を同時に作製することが可能であ
る。なお、前記説明においては、入出力端子1の先端部
の中央部を略直角に切り起こして、ディップ型端子部2
とファストン型端子部3を形成したが、入出力端子1の
先端部の一側を略直角に切り起こして、ディップ型端子
部とファストン型端子部を形成しても、同等の効果を期
待出来る。
