2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as this kind, for example,
As shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open No. 2-121119, a main body forming an internal space between the inlet and the outlet provided with an inlet connected to an air compressor and an outlet connected to an air storage tank, and the inner space A renewable desiccant that removes moisture in the compressed air flowing from the inlet to the outlet, and an oil component in the compressed air provided on the inlet side of the desiccant and flowing from the inlet to the desiccant. And a drain valve housed in a cylindrical portion protruding toward the oil filter and capable of communicating the inlet side of the oil filter with the atmosphere in response to an external command. On the outer peripheral side of the portion, an inner end of the inlet is opened to form an annular inlet chamber communicating between the inlet and the oil filter, and the inlet chamber is connected to the oil filter through a passage arranged in an annular shape. There is a thing that was passed. In this conventional compressed air drying apparatus, the compressed air flowing from the inlet to the inlet chamber flows into the oil filter from the lower side directly over the entire circumference. For this reason,
There is a problem that the oil contained in the compressed air is not sufficiently removed by the oil filter, reaches the desiccant, and the desiccant is contaminated early.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a plate member for partitioning between an oil filter and an inlet chamber. The plate member includes the oil filter side and the inlet chamber side. A communication port is formed so as to be deviated to the side opposite to the entrance when viewed in the radial direction of the entrance chamber with the cylindrical portion as a boundary, and the entrance chamber extends in a direction intersecting with the plate member. The structure is such that a substantially single-shaped obstacle wall portion facing the entrance is provided.

In the compressed air drying apparatus according to the present invention, the compressed air flowing from the inlet to the inlet chamber is first changed in flow direction by colliding with the obstacle wall, thereby forming a curved flow along the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion. It is reliably generated and travels a long path in the inlet chamber and flows into the oil filter through the communication port of the plate member. Therefore, the oil component contained in the compressed air is dropped not only in the oil filter itself but also in the inlet chamber due to the collision and cooling action, and is sufficiently removed.

The compressed air supplied from the air compressor to the inlet 4 flows into the inlet chamber 47 of the recess 6 from the inlet hole 4A. Since the compressed air that has flowed into the inlet chamber 47 collides with the obstacle wall section 10, the direction of the flow is changed in the direction along the inner periphery of the inlet chamber 47 as shown by the arrow in FIG. The compressed air from which the oil has been removed by the oil filter 41 flows into the oil filter 41 from the plurality of communication ports 45 and diffuses into the drying cylinder 11. After entering the drying cylinder 11 through the through hole, and further removing the remaining oil by the oil filter 14,
It flows into the packed bed of the desiccant 18 through the perforated plate 15 and the felt member 17. The compressed air rises in the packed bed of the desiccant 18, during which water is removed to become dry compressed air, passes through the felt member 22 and the perforated plate 19, and passes from the through hole 24 of the lid 20 to the storage tank 29 for regeneration. The regeneration of the desiccant 18 is automatically performed by monitoring the internal pressure of the main air storage tank and when the internal pressure reaches the upper limit pressure, using the air pressure signal of a governor device (not shown). It is. That is, the air pressure signal is supplied to the control port 40 of the base member 2 and is supplied to the control chamber 39.
Flows into. Thereby, the valve piston 31 is connected to the valve spring 3.
The valve body 33 moves down against the spring force of 2, the valve body 33 is separated from the valve seat, the drain valve 7 is opened, and the inside of the device communicates with the atmosphere. When the drain valve 7 is opened, the drain accumulated at the bottom of the recess 6 is released into the atmosphere at a stretch, and the dry compressed air in the regeneration storage tank 29 flows back into the drying cylinder 11 through the throttle hole 25, The regenerating desiccant 18 flows down in the drying cylinder 11 and flows out to the atmosphere through the oil filters 14 and 41.

In the present embodiment, the compressed air discharged from the air compressor and flowing into the inlet chamber 47 of the base member 2 collides with the obstacle wall portion 10, so that a part of oil is separated here.
Furthermore, after the collision, the compressed air flows around the cylindrical portion 8 and then enters the oil filter 41.
Oil drops due to the cooling action increase.

1. A main body forming an internal space between an inlet and an outlet provided with an inlet connected to an air compression device and an outlet connected to an air storage tank, and an inlet provided in the inner space. A renewable desiccant for removing moisture in the compressed air toward the outlet, an oil filter provided on the inlet side of the desiccant to remove oil in the compressed air from the inlet toward the desiccant, A drain valve housed in a cylindrical portion protruding toward the oil filter and capable of communicating the inlet side of the oil filter with the atmosphere in response to an external command; A compressed air drying device having an annular inlet chamber open at the inner end thereof and communicating between the inlet and the oil filter, comprising a plate member for partitioning between the oil filter and the inlet chamber; In the plate member, a communication port for communicating the oil filter side and the inlet chamber side is formed so as to be biased to a side opposite to the inlet when viewed in a radial direction of the inlet chamber with the cylindrical portion as a boundary. A compressed air drying device provided in the entrance chamber with a substantially one-character obstacle wall extending in a direction intersecting with the plate member and facing the entrance.
