Description

This invention relates to an exterior wall structure and an exterior wall construction method in which an exterior wall panel, which is made up of multiple exterior wall materials arranged vertically and integrated together, is fixed to the building frame.

Patent Document 1 discloses an exterior wall structure in which a water-stopping member is provided in the joint formed by overlapping water-stopping plate sections protruding from the side sections of adjacent exterior wall surface materials on the left and right.

However, the above exterior wall structure is a waterproof structure for the joints between adjacent exterior wall surface materials on the left and right, and is not a structure that can be applied to waterproofing between upper and lower exterior wall panels. In addition, there is no specific disclosure about waterproofing construction in a structure in which the upper and lower exterior wall panels form the frame of a wall opening.

In view of the above circumstances, the objective of this invention is to provide an exterior wall structure and an exterior wall construction method in which a lower exterior wall panel comprises a lower horizontal frame member and lower vertical frame portions of left and right vertical frame members in a wall opening frame body, and an upper exterior wall panel comprises an upper horizontal frame member and upper vertical frame portions of the left and right vertical frame members in the frame body, and in which water can be appropriately stopped between the lower vertical frame portions and the upper vertical frame portions.

In order to solve the above problems, the exterior wall structure of the present invention is an exterior wall structure in which a plurality of exterior wall surface materials are arranged vertically and integrated into an exterior wall panel, and the exterior wall panel is fixed to a building skeleton,
The lower exterior wall panel is provided with a lower horizontal frame member and lower vertical frame portions of the left and right vertical frame members in the frame body of the wall opening, and the upper exterior wall panel is provided with an upper horizontal frame member and upper vertical frame portions of the left and right vertical frame members in the frame body,
a lower waterstop plate material affixed to the outdoor surface of the lower vertical frame portion and projecting upward from the upper end of the lower vertical frame portion, and an upper waterstop plate material affixed to the outdoor surface of the upper vertical frame portion and projecting downward from the lower end of the upper vertical frame portion, overlap each other, while an inter-panel vertical member is fitted between the left and right lower vertical frame portions of the lower exterior wall panel and the left and right upper vertical frame portions of the upper exterior wall panel, at a position that is on the indoor side of the waterstop plate material,
The left and right lower vertical frame portions of the lower exterior wall panel, the left and right upper vertical frame portions of the upper exterior wall panel, and the inter-panel vertical member are fixed to each other by one or two connecting plates arranged across the lower vertical frame portion, the upper vertical frame portion, and the inter-panel vertical member.

With the above configuration, in a structure in which the upper and lower exterior wall panels form the frame of the wall opening, the infiltration of rainwater from the wall opening side between the vertical frame portion of the lower exterior wall panel and the vertical frame portion of the upper exterior wall panel can be prevented by the overlap of the upper waterstop material and the lower waterstop material. In addition, the overlapping portion of the waterstop material is supported from the back by the vertical member between the panels, so that the infiltration of rainwater from the wall opening side is appropriately prevented.

The water-stopping plate material may have sealing tape on a scrap board that is affixed to the outdoor surface of the frame body.

The connection plate may have bolt insertion holes through which bolts for the mutual fixation are inserted at the locations facing the lower left and right vertical frame parts of the lower exterior wall panel, the upper left and right vertical frame parts of the upper exterior wall panel, and the inter-panel vertical member. This makes it easier to adjust the position of the inter-panel vertical member, etc., compared to using drill screws or the like to fix the panels together.

The bolt insertion hole of the connection plate at the portion facing the inter-panel vertical member may be a long hole that is long in the horizontal direction, which corresponds to the thickness direction of the exterior wall surface material. In this way, the inter-panel vertical member can be pushed toward the exterior side and moved within the range of the long hole, and this movement allows the waterstop plate material located on the exterior side of the inter-panel vertical member to be pressed against the back surface of the exterior wall surface material, thereby improving the waterstop performance.

The exterior wall construction method of the present invention is an exterior wall construction method for constructing the exterior wall structure, and is characterized by including the steps of fixing the lower exterior wall panel to the building structure, fixing the upper exterior wall panel to the building structure, fixing the vertical furring strips of the lower exterior wall panel to the vertical furring strips of the upper exterior wall panel, and fitting the inter-panel vertical member between the left and right lower vertical frame parts of the lower exterior wall panel and the left and right upper vertical frame parts of the upper exterior wall panel, and fixing the left and right lower vertical frame parts of the lower exterior wall panel, the left and right upper vertical frame parts of the upper exterior wall panel, and the inter-panel vertical member to each other by the connection plate.

The exterior wall construction method of the present invention is an exterior wall construction method for constructing an exterior wall structure in which the bolt insertion holes are elongated holes, and is characterized by including the steps of: fixing the lower exterior wall panel to the building structure; fixing the upper exterior wall panel to the building structure; mutually fixing the vertical furring strips of the lower exterior wall panel and the vertical furring strips of the upper exterior wall panel; and fitting the inter-panel vertical member between the left and right lower vertical frame parts of the lower exterior wall panel and the left and right upper vertical frame parts of the upper exterior wall panel, and fixing the inter-panel vertical member to each other by the connection plate while pushing the inter-panel vertical member toward the outdoors.

The present invention has the effect of providing proper watertightness between the lower vertical frame portion and the upper vertical frame portion in an exterior wall structure in which a lower exterior wall panel comprises a lower horizontal frame member and lower vertical frame portions of the left and right vertical frame members in the frame body of a wall opening, and an upper exterior wall panel comprises an upper horizontal frame member and upper vertical frame portions of the left and right vertical frame members in the frame body.

FIG.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the exterior wall panels 1 and 2 each have an integrated structure in which a plurality of horizontally long exterior wall surface materials 51 are arranged vertically and connected to each other by a plurality of vertical furring strips 52 arranged at intervals in the horizontal direction. In the example shown in Figures 1 and 2, the vertical furring strips 52 are made of lip channel steel or square steel pipes.

The above-mentioned exterior wall surface material 51 is, for example, a metal sandwich panel in which non-combustible heat insulating material 51a is sandwiched between steel plates 51b and 51c, as shown in Figures 3(A) and 3(B). When two exterior wall surface materials 51 are arranged one above the other, two convex portions 51e long in the width direction formed on the upper end surface of the exterior wall surface material 51 located in the lower tier fit into two concave portions 51d long in the width direction formed on the lower end surface of the exterior wall surface material 51 located in the upper tier, so that the upper and lower exterior wall surface materials 51 are combined so that they do not shift out of position relative to each other in the out-of-plane direction.

In addition, by using a ground assembly frame (not shown), the exterior wall panel 1, which is made by arranging the multiple exterior wall surface materials 51 one above the other and connecting them with vertical furring strips 52, can be assembled at a location different from the exterior wall mounting location F (floor, etc.) of the building structure to which the exterior wall panel 1 is attached. The exterior wall panel 2 can also be assembled using a ground assembly frame. The exterior wall panels 1 and 2 assembled on the ground assembly frame are lifted by a crane or the like and fixed to the exterior wall mounting location F using fasteners. The fasteners can be used to fix the exterior wall panels 1 and 2 to the structure by a worker working on the floor without scaffolding.

As shown in Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, the exterior wall structure of this embodiment is structured such that the frame body A1 of the wall opening A is formed by both the lower exterior wall panel 1 and the upper exterior wall panel 2. That is, the lower exterior wall panel 1 has a lower horizontal frame material 11 in the frame body A1 of the wall opening A and left and right lower vertical frame parts 12 that are the lower parts of the vertical frame material in the frame body A1, and the upper exterior wall panel 2 has an upper horizontal frame material 21 in the frame body A1 and left and right upper vertical frame parts 22 that are the upper parts of the vertical frame material in the frame body A1. The left and right lower vertical frame parts 12 and the left and right upper vertical frame parts 22 are each made of, for example, vertical furring strips 52 of lip channel steel. The lip channel steel has a pair of opposing surfaces and a connecting surface part that connects these opposing surfaces, and the exterior wall surface material 51 is fixed to one of the opposing surfaces with a screw. The horizontal frame members 11 and 21 are also made of horizontal furring strips 53, for example, lip channel steel. Note that in FIG. 4, the exterior wall surface members 51 in the exterior wall panels 1 and 2 are omitted and only the furring strips 52 and 53 are shown. The equipment that can be attached to the wall opening A includes doors, sashes, etc. Note that the wall opening is not limited to an opening for equipment, but also includes an opening for a connecting corridor that is left open without any equipment.

In the lower exterior wall panel 1, one of the multiple vertical furring strips 52 is connected to the center of the horizontal frame material 11. As shown in Figs. 6 and 7, the upper ends of the lower left and right vertical frame parts 12 are located lower than the upper ends of the two vertical furring strips 52 on the edge side. A short horizontal furring strip 53 is provided between the vertical furring strip 52 on one edge side and the lower vertical frame part 12 located near the vertical furring strip 52. Figs. 6 and 7 show the exterior wall panel 2 not yet attached and separated from the exterior wall panel 1 fixed to the exterior wall mounting point F. In Fig. 6, the exterior wall surface material 51 on the exterior wall panels 1 and 2 is omitted, and the waterstop plate materials 13 and 23 described later are shown in virtual lines.

In the upper exterior wall panel 2, one of the multiple vertical furring strips 52 is connected to the center of the horizontal frame material 21. The lower ends of the upper left and right vertical frame parts 22 are located higher than the lower ends of the two vertical furring strips 52 on the edge side. A short horizontal furring strip 53 is provided between one of the vertical furring strips 52 on the edge side and the upper vertical frame part 22 located near this vertical furring strip 52. A horizontal furring strip 53 is provided above the horizontal frame material 21, and is connected to each vertical furring strip 52.

Furthermore, in the lower exterior wall panel 1, a water stop plate material 13 is attached to the outdoor surfaces of the horizontal frame material 11 and the lower vertical frame portion 12. The upper end side of the water stop plate material 13 attached to the lower vertical frame portion 12 protrudes upward from the upper end of the lower vertical frame portion 12, and extends further upward than the upper ends of the two vertical furring strips 52 on the edge side. Similarly, in the upper exterior wall panel 2, a water stop plate material 23 is attached to the outdoor surfaces of the horizontal frame material 21 and the upper vertical frame portion 22. The lower end side of the water stop plate material 23 attached to the upper vertical frame portion 22 protrudes downward from the lower end of the upper vertical frame portion 22, and extends further downward than the lower ends of the two vertical furring strips 52 on the edge side. The waterstop material 13 and the waterstop material 23 are not limited to the above-mentioned extension form, as long as their tips overlap when the upper and lower exterior wall panels 1 and 2 are fixed to the building structure.

As shown in FIG. 8(A), the waterstop plate material 13 is, for example, made up of a sealing tape 13a and a scrap board 13b that supports the sealing tape 13a on one side and has the other side glued to the frame body A1. This scrap board 13b is attached to the outdoor surfaces of the horizontal frame material 11 and the lower vertical frame portion 12. Similarly, as shown in FIG. 8(B), the waterstop plate material 23 is, for example, made up of a sealing tape 23a and a scrap board 23b that supports the sealing tape 23a on one side and has the other side glued to the frame body A1. This scrap board 23b is attached to the outdoor surfaces of the horizontal frame material 21 and the upper vertical frame portion 22.

When the lower exterior wall panel 1 and the upper exterior wall panel 2 are fixed to the building frame, the lower waterstop plate material 13, which is attached to the lower vertical frame portion 12 and extends upward from the upper end of the lower vertical frame portion 12, and the upper waterstop plate material 23, which is attached to the upper vertical frame portion 22 and extends downward from the lower end of the upper vertical frame portion 22, overlap each other. In this overlap, the upper waterstop plate material 23 is located on the outdoor side of the lower waterstop plate material 13.

Furthermore, the lower edge of the lower end exterior wall surface material 51 of the upper exterior wall panel 2 is located below the lower end position of the upper vertical frame portion 22 (see FIG. 7). Then, when the lower exterior wall panel 1 and the upper exterior wall panel 2 are fixed to the building frame, the end faces of the two vertical furring strips 52 on both edges of the lower exterior wall panel 1 and the upper exterior wall panel 2 are butted together in close proximity, and the recess 51d and protrusion 51e of the lower edge of the lowest exterior wall surface material 51 of the upper exterior wall panel 2 are fitted into the protrusion 51e and recess 51d of the upper edge of the upper end exterior wall surface material 51 of the lower exterior wall panel 1 (see FIG. 3B). Also, the vertical furring strips 52 butted together as described above are fixed to each other by a connecting plate arranged across the upper and lower vertical furring strips 52. For example, the connecting plate has an insertion hole through which a bolt is inserted, and the vertical furring strips 52 have a nut portion into which the bolt can be screwed. The bolt is passed through the insertion hole of the connecting plate and screwed into the nut portion, thereby fixing the two vertical furring strips 52 on both edge sides together.

A gap measuring approximately 10 to 25 cm in height is formed between the upper ends of the left and right lower vertical frame sections 12 of the lower exterior wall panel 1 and the lower ends of the left and right upper vertical frame sections 22 of the upper exterior wall panel 2 (see Figure 8 (B)). As shown in Figure 9, an inter-panel vertical member 4 made of lip channel steel is fitted into this gap so that it comes into contact with the indoor side of the waterstop plate material 23.

As shown in Fig. 4 and Fig. 9 above, the lower left and right vertical frame parts 12 of the lower exterior wall panel 1, the upper left and right vertical frame parts 22 of the upper exterior wall panel 2, and the inter-panel vertical member 4 are fixed to each other by a single connection plate 14 arranged across the inter-panel vertical member 4 from the end sides of the lower left and right vertical frame parts 12 and the upper left and right vertical frame parts 22. For example, two nut parts 12a are provided vertically at the connection part of the lip channel steel at the upper end side of the lower left and right vertical frame parts 12, and two nut parts 22a are provided vertically at the connection part of the lip channel steel at the lower end side of the upper left and right vertical frame parts 22. The inter-panel vertical member 4 is provided with four nut parts 4a vertically at the connection part of the lip channel steel. In addition, eight bolt insertion holes 14a are formed in the connection plate 14 in an arrangement corresponding to the positions of the two nut parts 12a, two nut parts 22a, and four nut parts 4a. The bolts passed through the bolt insertion holes 14a of the connection plate 14, which is arranged to straddle the inter-panel vertical member 4 from the end side of the lower vertical frame portion 12 and the upper vertical frame portion 22, are screwed into the nut portions 12a, 22a, and 4a, respectively, and the left and right lower vertical frame portions 12, the left and right upper vertical frame portions 22, and the inter-panel vertical member 4 are fixed to each other by the connection plate 14.

In this embodiment, the four bolt insertion holes 14a corresponding to the formation positions of the four nut portions 4a of the inter-panel vertical member 4 are elongated holes that are long in the horizontal direction, which is the thickness direction of the exterior wall surface material 51, and the inter-panel vertical member 4 is moved toward the exterior wall surface material 51 within the range in which it can move within the elongated hole relative to the bolt, and then fastened with the bolt.

In the above configuration, in a structure in which the upper and lower exterior wall panels 1, 2 form the frame body A1 of the wall opening A, water can be stopped between the lower left and right vertical frame parts 12 of the lower exterior wall panel 1 and the upper left and right vertical frame parts 22 of the upper exterior wall panel 2 by the overlap of the lower waterstop plate material 13 and the upper waterstop plate material 23. In addition, the overlapping parts of the waterstop plate materials 13, 23 are supported from the back by the inter-panel vertical member 4, so that the above waterstop is performed appropriately.

In addition, the connection plate 14 has bolt insertion holes 14a, making it easier to adjust the position of the inter-panel vertical members 4 compared to using drill screws or other tools to secure the panels together.

Furthermore, the bolt insertion hole 14a of the connection plate 14 at the portion facing the inter-panel vertical member 4 is a long hole that is long in the horizontal direction, which is the thickness direction of the exterior wall surface material 51, so that the inter-panel vertical member 4 can be pushed to the exterior side and moved within the range of the long hole. This movement allows the water stop plate material 13, 23 located on the exterior side of the inter-panel vertical member 4 to be pressed against the back surface of the exterior wall surface material 51, improving the water stop performance. Note that it is not essential that the bolt insertion hole 14a is a long hole. The above-mentioned pressure contact can also be obtained by improving the precision of the formation position of the bolt insertion hole 14a and the nut portion 4a.

In addition, in this embodiment, a single connection plate 14 is used, but as shown in FIG. 10, the connection plate 14 can also be divided into two parts, an upper part and a lower part, to form two connection plates 14A, 14A. However, using a single connection plate 14 has the advantage that it is easier to accurately obtain the reaction force for the pressure connection.

In addition, in this embodiment, the exterior wall surface material 51 on the upper end side of the lower exterior wall panel 1 has a concave portion on its upper side whose lower edge coincides with the height of the horizontal frame material 11 (horizontal furring strip 53), but this structure is not limited to this. For example, the upper edge portion of the exterior wall surface material 51 on the upper end side of the lower exterior wall panel 1 may be flat in shape without the above-mentioned concave portion (no convex portion 51e or concave portion 51d is formed), and the horizontal frame material 11 (horizontal furring strip 53) may be positioned at the height of this upper edge portion.

Next, the exterior wall construction method for constructing the above exterior wall structure will be described. As shown in FIG. 7, this exterior wall construction method includes the process of fixing the lower exterior wall panel 1 to the exterior wall mounting point F and the process of fixing the upper exterior wall panel 2 to the exterior wall mounting point F on the upper floor side. As explained above, the exterior wall panels 1 and 2 can be lifted by a crane or the like and fixed to the exterior wall mounting point F using the above fasteners. Fixing the exterior wall panels 1 and 2 with the above fasteners can be done without scaffolding by a worker working on the floor part that will be the exterior wall mounting point F.

Next, the vertical furring strips 52 on the edge of the lower exterior wall panel 1 and the vertical furring strips 52 on the edge of the upper exterior wall panel 2 are fixed to each other. Then, the inter-panel vertical member 4 is fitted between the left and right lower vertical frame portions 12 of the lower exterior wall panel 1 and the left and right upper vertical frame portions 22 of the upper exterior wall panel 2, and the left and right lower vertical frame portions 12 of the lower exterior wall panel 1, the left and right upper vertical frame portions 22 of the upper exterior wall panel 2, and the inter-panel vertical member 4 are fixed to each other by bolt fastening using the connection plate 14 (14A). In this embodiment, the bolt insertion holes 14a of the long holes in the connection plate 14 (14A) are used to perform the above-mentioned fixation while the inter-panel vertical member 4 is pressed toward the outdoors. It is preferable that each vertical frame section 12, 22 has two or more bolt insertion holes 14a to prevent the inter-panel vertical member 4 from rotating, but each vertical frame section 12, 22 may have only one bolt insertion hole 14a.
