Abstract
Description
図1に示すように、実施例の電動ブレーキアクチュエータ10(以下、単に「アクチュエータ10」と略す場合がある)は、電動ブレーキ装置において、主要構成要素として採用されている。電動ブレーキ装置は、アクチュエータ10を保持するブレーキキャリパ12(以下、単に「キャリパ12」と略す場合がある)と、車輪とともに回転する回転体としてのディスクロータ14と、1対のブレーキパッド(以下、単に「パッド」と略す場合がある)16a,16bと、コントローラとしての電子制御ユニット(以下、「ECU」と言う場合がある)18とを含んで構成されている。
本発明の実施例としてのアクチュエータ10は、図2に示すように、当該アクチュエータ10の本体としての上述のハウジング40,上述のピストン42の他、駆動源としての電動モータ(3相のDCブラシレスモータである)44,電動モータ44の回転を減速させるための減速機構46,その減速機構46を介した電動モータ44の回転によって回転させられる回転シャフト48(「軸体」の一種である)を有してその回転シャフト48の回転動作をピストン42の進退動作(前進・後退動作)に変換する動作変換機構50等を含んで構成されている。ちなみに、動作変換機構50は、実施例の動作変換機構であり、簡単に言えば、電動モータ44の回転動作をピストン42の進退動作に変換するものと考えることができる。なお、以下の説明において、便宜的に、図の左方を前方,右方を後方と呼ぶこととする。
先に説明したように、本アクチュエータ10は、雄ねじが形成された軸体としての回転シャフト48と、その雄ねじに螺号する雌ねじが形成された筒体としてのナット78とを含んで構成され、回転シャフト48の回転動作をナット78の直動動作に変換する動作変換機構50を備えている。
Claims (10)
- 雄ねじが形成された軸体と、前記雄ねじと螺合する雌ねじが形成された筒体とを含んで構成され、前記軸体と前記筒体との一方の回転動作を他方の直動動作に変換する動作変換機構であって、
前記筒体に、それぞれに前記雌ねじが形成された2つの雌ねじ部が、前記雌ねじが形成されていない無ねじ部を軸線方向において挟んで設けられた動作変換機構。 - 前記無ねじ部が、前記2つの雌ねじ部のうちの軸線方向長さにおいて短いものよりも、軸線方向長さにおいて長くされている請求項1に記載の動作変換機構。
- 軸線方向における一方の方向を第1方向と、その第1方向と反対の方向を第2方向と定義した場合に、
前記軸体の第1方向側の部分と、前記筒体の第2方向側の部分とにおいて、回転トルクと軸方向力とが作用するように構成された請求項1または請求項2に記載の動作変換機構。 - 前記2つの雌ねじ部のうちの第1方向側に設けられたものが、第2方向側に設けられたものより、軸線方向長さにおいて長くされている請求項3に記載の動作変換機構。
- 前記筒体の第2方向側の部分の外周に、フランジが設けられた請求項3または請求項4に記載の動作変換機構。
- 前記雄ねじおよび前記雌ねじが、多条ねじである請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1つに記載の動作変換機構。
- 前記雄ねじおよび前記雌ねじが、台形ねじである請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれか1つに記載の動作変換機構。
- 車輪とともに回転する回転体に摩擦部材を押し付けるための電動ブレーキアクチュエータであって、
前進することで前記摩擦部材を前記回転体に向かって押すピストンと、
電動モータと、
その電動モータによって前記軸体と前記筒体との一方が回転動作させられ、前記軸体と前記筒体との他方が前記ピストンと係合して前記ピストンを進退させるように構成された請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか1つに記載された動作変換機構と
を備えた電動ブレーキアクチュエータ。 - 前記軸体と筒体との他方と前記ピストンとが係合する部分に設けられて前記ピストンの前記軸体と筒体との他方に対する傾動を許容するピストン傾動許容機構を備えた請求項8に記載の電動ブレーキアクチュエータ。
- 前記軸体と筒体との他方と前記ピストンとが、それらの一方に設けられた凸球面と他方に設けられた凹球面とを互いに接触させるようにして係合することで、前記ピストン傾動許容機構が実現された請求項9に記載の電動ブレーキアクチュエータ。
