Abstract
Description
本実施形態では、加圧加工液供給口2aは、エクステンドガイド2の長さ方向からみて、工具電極1を中心として、エクステンドガイド2の壁面の周方向において90度毎に4つ設けられている。また、加圧加工液供給口2aは、同じ内径を有する円形状であって、同じ高さに配置されている。これにより、ミスト生成空間S1に加圧加工液を偏りなく供給することができる。従って、ミスト生成空間S1内にミストを均一に生成し、工具電極1に沿って偏りなく噴射することができるため、放電加工が行われる工具電極1の先端部近傍の加工屑を確実に除去することができる。

Claims (8)
- 被加工物との間で放電加工を行う工具電極と、
前記工具電極が挿通される筒状のエクステンドガイドと、
先端が突出した状態で前記工具電極が挿通されるとともに、前記エクステンドガイドの外壁面に沿って設けられ、前記エクステンドガイドとの間にミスト生成空間を形成するロングノズルと、
前記ミスト生成空間に圧縮気体を供給する圧縮気体供給装置と、
前記工具電極と前記エクステンドガイドとの間の加工液充填空間に加圧加工液を供給する加圧加工液供給装置と、
を備え、
前記エクステンドガイドには、壁面を貫く加圧加工液供給口が形成され、
前記加圧加工液供給口は、前記壁面の周方向において等角度毎に2以上形成され、
前記加圧加工液供給口を介して前記加工液充填空間から前記ミスト生成空間に供給された前記加圧加工液は、前記ミスト生成空間で前記圧縮気体と混合されることにより霧状に微粒子化し、ミストとして噴射されることを特徴とする放電加工装置。 - 前記工具電極を支持する2以上のダイスをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電加工装置。
- 前記ダイスのうちの1つは、前記ミストが噴射される側である前記エクステンドガイドの長さ方向一端部に配置され、
前記工具電極と前記ダイスとの間には、前記加工液充填空間の加圧加工液が噴出する間隙が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の放電加工装置。 - 前記ダイスのうちの1つは、前記ミストが噴射される側と逆側の前記エクステンドガイドの長さ方向他端部に配置され、
前記工具電極と前記ダイスとの間には、前記加工液充填空間の加圧加工液が噴出する間隙が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の放電加工装置。 - 前記ダイスのうちの1つは、前記加圧加工液供給口と前記エクステンドガイドの長さ方向他端部との間に配置され、外壁面に加圧加工液の流路となる切り欠きが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2〜4の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
- 前記圧縮気体は、空気であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
- 前記加圧加工液は、水であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
- 放電加工中、前記工具電極は、同軸周りに回転していることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
