【解決手段】金属異物検出装置14は、アンテナコイルL3と、アンテナコイルL3とともに共振回路RCを形成するコンデンサC3と、共振回路RCに電圧を印加することにより、共振回路RCに振動信号Vbを発生させる電源148bと、振動信号Vbの波形に基づいて金属異物の有無を判定する判定回路145と、共振回路RC内に挿入された共振コンデンサスイッチ149と、共振コンデンサスイッチ149の開閉状態を制御する制御回路147と、を備え、制御回路147は、電源148bによる共振回路RCへの電圧の印加が開始されたことに応じて、共振コンデンサスイッチ149を閉状態にするよう構成される。

- アンテナコイルと、
前記アンテナコイルとともに共振回路を形成するコンデンサと、
前記共振回路に電圧を印加することにより、前記共振回路に振動信号を発生させる駆動部と、
前記振動信号の波形に基づいて金属異物の有無を判定する判定部と、
前記共振回路内に挿入された第1のスイッチと、
前記第1のスイッチの開閉状態を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記駆動部による前記共振回路への電圧の印加が開始されたことに応じて、前記第1のスイッチを閉状態にするよう構成されることを特徴とする金属異物検出装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記駆動部による前記共振回路への電圧の印加の終了と同時に、前記第1のスイッチを閉状態にするよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属異物検出装置。
- 前記駆動部と前記共振回路の間に挿入された第2のスイッチ、をさらに備え、
前記制御部は、前記第1のスイッチの開閉状態を制御するためのスイッチ駆動信号を生成するスイッチ駆動信号生成回路と、前記第2のスイッチの開閉状態を制御するためのパルス印加信号を生成するパルス印加信号生成回路と、を有し、
前記スイッチ駆動信号生成回路は、前記パルス印加信号が非活性化したことに応じて前記スイッチ駆動信号を活性化するとともにタイマーを開始し、タイマー値が所定値に達した場合に前記スイッチ駆動信号を非活性とするよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の金属異物検出装置。 - 前記駆動部と前記共振回路の間に挿入された第2のスイッチ、をさらに備え、
前記制御部は、前記第1のスイッチの開閉状態を制御するためのスイッチ駆動信号を生成するスイッチ駆動信号生成回路と、前記第2のスイッチの開閉状態を制御するためのパルス印加信号を生成するパルス印加信号生成回路と、前記パルス印加信号の入力を受ける遅延回路と、を有し、
前記遅延回路は、前記パルス印加信号が活性化したことに応じて該遅延回路の出力信号を活性化するとともにタイマーを開始し、タイマー値が所定値に達した場合に前記出力信号を非活性とし、
前記スイッチ駆動信号生成回路は、前記出力信号が非活性となったことに応じて前記スイッチ駆動信号を活性化するとともにタイマーを開始し、タイマー値が所定値に達した場合に前記スイッチ駆動信号を非活性とするよう構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属異物検出装置。 - 前記駆動部は、前記制御部の一部分を構成する回路の駆動電源として使用されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の金属異物検出装置。
- 前記駆動部と前記共振回路の間に挿入された第2のスイッチ、をさらに備え、
