Claims (6)
- 呼気作動型ドライパウダー吸入器であって、前記吸入器は実質的に平面状の要素の積み重ねから組み立てられている実質的に平面状のハウジングを備え、前記平面状の要素は底板、中間板、及び頂部板を備え、前記平面状の要素は互いに平行であり、少なくとも1つの平面状要素は突出部及び開口部を設けられており、前記積み重ねにおいて、吸気流のエネルギーを使用して流入させた粉末薬の凝集の分解を行うための実質的に円盤状の空気循環チャンバー、複数の空気供給流路、粉末流用の空気供給領域、及び吸入器の吐出流路を形成し、前記チャンバーは前記チャンバーの頂部壁と底部壁との間の中心軸の周りに延在する実質的に多角形の側壁を有し、前記中心軸は前記底板に対して横方向に延在し、前記チャンバーの高さはその直径よりも小さく、前記複数の空気供給流路は前記チャンバーの周上に配設され、前記流路は空気入口から延在し、前記流路はその側壁に実質的に接線方向で前記チャンバーに入り、前記ハウジングは前記吸入器の粉末用量供給領域を貫通して前記チャンバーまで延在する粉末流路を備え、前記粉末流路は、その側壁に対して実質的に接線方向で前記チャンバーに入り、前記チャンバーは吐出開口部から軸方向に延在し、マウスピースまで及んでいる吐出流路に接続する空気出口をさらに備え、前記吐出流路は、前記チャンバーの前記空気出口に実質的に横方向で接続する呼気作動型ドライパウダー吸入器において、前記吸入器は、単一の空気循環チャンバーを備えることと、前記多角形の側壁は、少なくとも6個の直線ラインセグメント又は側面を備え、各直線ラインセグメントは隣接するセグメントから同じ第1の距離で隔てて配置され、前記複数の空気供給流路を形成し、前記空気供給流路は同じ幅を有し、前記チャンバーの前記周上に規則正しく配設され、前記粉末流路は前記第1の距離よりも大きい第2の距離で互いから隔てて配置された2つの直線ラインセグメントによって画成されることとを特徴とする呼気作動型ドライパウダー吸入器。
- 前記多角形の側壁は、11個の直線ラインセグメントを含む請求項1に記載の呼気作動型ドライパウダー吸入器。
- 前記第2の距離は、前記第1の距離の少なくとも2倍、好ましくは約3倍である請求項1又は2に記載の呼気作動型ドライパウダー吸入器。
- 前記第1の距離は、1〜2mmの範囲、好ましくは約1.5mmである請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の呼気作動型ドライパウダー吸入器。
- 前記突出部の各々の表面は、それぞれの直線ラインセグメントを形成し、各表面は自由縁を有し、前記それぞれの突出部の前記表面の前記自由縁は丸くなっており、前記中心軸を中心とする円上に位置する請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の呼気作動型ドライパウダー吸入器。
- 前記単一のチャンバーの前記直径は、約20mm〜約30mmの範囲、好ましくは約25mmである請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の呼気作動型ドライパウダー吸入器。
