側面(106)をスラリー(204)で被覆する工程と、
スラリー(204)を焼結して、約35%〜約95%の第1の金属材料(110)と、約5%〜約65%の第2の金属材料(112)とを含み、側面(106)を取り囲む被覆(104)を形成して、ハイブリッド物品(100)を形成する工程とを含む、ハイブリッド物品(100)を形成するための方法。

コア(102)をダイ(200)の中に配置する工程が、1種以上の超合金、ニッケル基超合金、コバルト基超合金、鉄基超合金、難溶接性(HTW)合金、耐熱合金、GTD111、GTD444、HAYNES188、INCONEL738、MAR−M−247、Rene108、Rene142、Rene195及びReneN2からなる群から選択されるコア材料(108)を有するコア(102)を配置する工程を含む実施態様8に記載の方法。

コア(102)をダイ(200)の中に配置する工程が、円形、楕円形、長円形、三角形、R付け三角形、正方形、R付け正方形、長方形、R付け長方形、五角形、R付け五角形、六角形、R付け六角形及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される物品断面構造(114)を有するコア(102)を配置する工程を含む実施態様8に記載の方法。

ハイブリッド物品(100)を物品(600)にろう付けすること、溶接充填材として作用するハイブリッド物品(100)を用いて開口部(602)を溶接すること及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される技術によって、開口部(602)を埋める工程とを含む方法。
[実施態様17]
ハイブリッド物品(100)を物品(600)にろう付けする工程が、ハイブリッド物品(100)を難溶接性(HTW)合金にろう付けする工程を含む実施態様16に記載の方法。
[実施態様18]
溶接充填材として作用するハイブリッド物品(100)を用いて開口部(602)を溶接する工程が、ガスタングステンアーク溶接、被覆金属アーク溶接、プラズマアーク溶接、レーザービーム溶接及び電子ビーム溶接のうちの少なくとも1つからなる群から選択される溶接技術の使用を含む実施態様16に記載の方法。

開口部(602)を埋める工程が、気密性のシールを形成する実施態様16に記載の方法。

側面(106)及びコア材料(108)を含むコア(102)と、
側面(106)に配置され、側面を取り囲む被覆(104)と
を含んでおり、被覆(104)が、約35%〜約95%の第1の融点を有する第1の金属材料(110)と、約5%〜約65%の第2の融点を有する第2の金属材料(112)とを含んでいて、第1の融点が第2の融点よりも高い、ハイブリッド物品(100)。 - コア材料(108)が、1種以上の超合金、ニッケル基超合金、コバルト基超合金、鉄基超合金、難溶接性(HTW)合金、耐熱合金、GTD111、GTD444、HAYNES188、INCONEL738、MAR−M−247、Rene108、Rene142、Rene195及びReneN2からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド物品(100)。
- 第1の金属材料(110)が、1種以上の超合金、ニッケル基超合金、コバルト基超合金、鉄基超合金、難溶接性(HTW)合金、耐熱合金、GTD111、GTD444、HAYNES188、INCONEL738、MAR−M−247、Rene108、Rene142、Rene195及びReneN2からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド物品(100)。
- 第1の融点が約2400°F〜約2600°Fであり、第2の融点が約1500°F〜約2375°Fである、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド物品(100)。
- 被覆(104)が、約0.5mm〜約5mmの平均被覆厚さを有する、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド物品(100)。
- コア(102)が、約0.5mm〜約30mmの平均径を有する、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド物品(100)。
- 円形、楕円形、長円形、三角形、R付け三角形、正方形、R付け正方形、長方形、R付け長方形、五角形、R付け五角形、六角形、R付け六角形及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される物品断面構造(114)をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のハイブリッド物品(100)。
- ハイブリッド物品(100)を形成するための方法であって、
側面(106)を含むコア(102)をダイ(200)の中に配置する工程と、
側面(106)とダイ(200)の間に、側面(106)を取り囲む隙間(202)を形成する工程と、
第1の融点を有する第1の金属材料(110)と、第2の融点を有する第2の金属材料(112)とを含んでいて、第1の融点が第2の融点よりも高いスラリー(204)を隙間(202)に導入する工程と、
側面(106)をスラリー(204)で被覆する工程と、
スラリー(204)を焼結して、約35%〜約95%の第1の金属材料(110)と、約5%〜約65%の第2の金属材料(112)とを含み、側面(106)を取り囲む被覆(104)を形成して、ハイブリッド物品(100)を形成する工程と
を含む方法。 - 物品(600)の開口部(602)を埋めるための方法であって、
側面(106)及びコア材料(108)を含むコア(102)と、側面(106)に配置され、側面を取り囲む被覆(104)とを含むハイブリッド物品(100)であって、被覆(104)が、約35%〜約95%の第1の融点を有する第1の金属材料(110)と、約5%〜約65%の第2の融点を有する第2の金属材料(112)とを含んでいて、第1の融点が第2の融点よりも高い、ハイブリッド物品(100)を、開口部(602)に挿入する工程と、
ハイブリッド物品(100)を物品(600)にろう付けすること、溶接充填材として作用するハイブリッド物品(100)を用いて開口部(602)を溶接すること及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される技術によって、開口部(602)を埋める工程と
を含む方法。 - ハイブリッド物品(100)を開口部(602)に挿入する工程が、ハイブリッド物品(100)をタービン構成部品に挿入する工程を含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
