Claims (20)

前記軸に沿って延びるとともに前記軸の周りに配置されたコイルと、を備え、
前記コイルは、前記コアの外面上に配置されるとともに第1の巻き角を規定する第1の部分と、前記第1の部分と電気的に結合されるとともに前記第1の巻き角と異なる第2の巻き角を規定する第2の部分と、を備え、
前記第1の巻き角および前記第2の巻き角のうちの少なくとも1つは、前記軸に垂直な直線を基準として実質的に非ゼロであり、
これにより、前記コイルは、前記軸の周りの前記コイルのロールを少なくとも示す印加される磁界に応じた信号を発するように構成される、医療デバイス・センサ・アセンブリ。 - 前記第1の巻き角および前記第2の巻き角の和は、ほぼ90度で、前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分が実質的に垂直である、請求項10に記載の医療デバイス・センサ・アセンブリ。
