次に検体A〜Eを精製水で100倍希釈して10mLを秤量し、羊毛由来のケラチン(商品名:Keratin from wool、東京化成工業社製)500mgと共に遠心管に入れた。そして遠心管を40℃の温水中で15分間、120回/分の条件で振盪し、その後、遠心した(3500rpm、12分)。得られた上清を濃縮後、ガスクロマトグラフィーを用いて内標準法で濃グリセリンを定量した。

検体F及びGにおけるケラチンへのミスチリン酸イソプロピルの付着率とその標準誤差を表3に示した。なお、オレイン酸ソルビタン及びモノオレイン酸POEソルビタンはノニオン系界面活性剤であり、保湿成分であるミスチリン酸イソプロピルを水に溶解させるために使用した。
