Abstract
【解決手段】 基材表面に反射防止膜が形成された光学用部材であって、前記反射防止膜の最表層が酸化アルミニウムの結晶を含む凹凸構造を有する結晶層であり、かつ前記結晶層の一部あるいは全部がカルボン酸化合物を含有する光学用部材。(a)基材上に酸化アルミニウムを含む酸化アルミニウム層を形成する工程と、(b)前記酸化アルミニウム層を60℃以上100℃以下の温水あるいは水蒸気と接触させて凹凸構造を有する結晶層を形成する工程と、(c)前記結晶層上に、カルボン酸化合物および溶媒を含有する塗工液を塗布する工程と、(d)前記塗工液の溶媒を除去する工程とを含む光学用部材の製造方法。

Description
本発明は、この様な従来の問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、広い波長域で低い反射率を有するとともに、使用環境下においても良好な光学特性を有する光学用部材およびその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。
(a)基材上に酸化アルミニウムを含む酸化アルミニウム層を形成する工程と、
(b)前記酸化アルミニウム層を60℃以上100℃以下の温水中に接触させて凹凸構造を有する結晶層を形成する工程と、
(c)前記結晶層上に、カルボン酸化合物および溶媒を含有する塗工液を塗布する工程と、
(d)前記塗工液の溶媒を除去する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする。

片面を研磨した大きさ約φ30mm、厚さ約2mmの各種ガラス基材をアルカリ洗剤およびIPAで超音波洗浄した後、オーブン中で乾燥した。
14.8gのアルミニウム−sec−ブトキシド(ASBD、川研ファインケミカル製)と、アルミニウム−sec−ブトキシドに対して0.5モル当量の3−メチルアセチルアセトン(ACMAC)と、2−エチルブタノールとを均一になるまで混合攪拌した。0.01M希塩酸をアルミニウム−sec−ブトキシドに対して1.5モル当量、2−エチルブタノール/1−エトキシ−2−プロパノールの混合溶媒に溶解してから、前記アルミニウム−sec−ブトキシドの溶液にゆっくり加え、暫く攪拌した。最終的に液全量に対するアルミニウム−sec−ブトキシドの重量%が18.7%、2−エチルブタノールと1−エトキシ−2−プロパノールの溶媒混合比が7/3になるよう、溶媒量を調整した。この溶液を酸化アルミニウム層を形成するための前駆体ゾル液とした。
合計で1.77gの4,4’−ビス(4−アミノフェノキシ)ビフェニル、1.01gの4,4’−メチレンビス(アミノシクロヘキサン)および0.62gの1,3−ビス(アミノプロピル)テトラメチルジシロキサンを27.7mlのN,N−ジメチルアセトアミド(以下、DMAcと略す)に溶解した。このジアミン溶液を水冷しながら3.53gの4−(2,5−ジオキソテトラヒドロフラン−3−イル)−1,2,3,4−テトラヒドロナフタレン−1,2−ジカルボン酸無水物を加えた。この溶液を15時間室温で攪拌し、重合反応を行った。さらに、DMAcで希釈して8重量%になるように調整した後、7.4gのピリジンと3.8gの無水酢酸を加え、室温で1時間攪拌した。さらに、オイルバスで70℃に加熱しながら4時間攪拌した。重合溶液をメタノール中に再沈殿しポリマーを取り出した後、メタノール中で数回洗浄した。100℃で真空乾燥後、5.9gの淡黄色粉末状のポリイミドを得た。1H−NMRスペクトルからカルボキシル基残量を測定し、イミド化率99%であることを確認した。
上記方法で合成したポリイミド粉末2.0gを98gのシクロペンタノン/シクロヘキサノンの混合溶媒に加え、室温で攪拌し完全に溶解した。この溶液に、0.04gのイソシアン酸(3−トリエトキシシリル)プロピルを加え、室温で2時間攪拌した。さらにこの中にイオン交換水を0.2g加えて1時間攪拌することでポリイミド溶液を調製した。
カルボン酸化合物を表1に記載の濃度になるよう、イオン交換水を用いてカルボン酸水溶液を調整した。
絶対反射率測定装置(USPM−RU、オリンパス製)を用い、波長400nmから700nmの範囲の光の入射角0°時の反射率の測定を行った。波長400nmから700nmの反射率の平均値を平均反射率とした。
分光エリプソメータ(VASE、ジェー・エー・ウーラム・ジャパン製)を用い、波長380nmから800nmまで測定した。
基板表面をPd/Pt処理を行い、FE−SEM(S−4800、日立ハイテク製)を用いて加速電圧2kVで表面観察を行った。
耐久試験の一例として、小型環境試験機(SH−241、エスペック製)を用い、温度70℃、湿度90%の環境下に12時間放置することで高温高湿加速試験を行った。
本発明における、凹凸構造を有する結晶層2の一部あるいは全部にカルボン酸化合物を含有していることの確認方法の一例について説明する。
洗浄したLa2O5を主成分とするnd=1.83、νd=42のガラスAの研磨面上にポリイミド溶液1を適量滴下し、3000から4000rpmでスピンコートを行った。この基板を200℃で60分間乾燥し、中間屈折率層4が形成された基板を得た。
比較例1は凹凸構造を有する結晶層2上にカルボン酸化合物水溶液を塗工・焼成しないで、比較例2,3はカルボン酸化合物水溶液1から5の代わりに、表1に示す材料を用いた以外は、実施例1から5と同様の操作を行った。
カルボン酸化合物水溶液5を用い、実施例1から5の製造工程のうち、中間屈折率層4の形成工程を除いた以外、同様の操作を行った。
カルボン酸化合物水溶液5の代わりに、何も塗工・焼成せずに、それ以外は実施例6と同様の操作を行った。

Claims (7)
- 基材表面に反射防止膜が形成された光学用部材であって、前記反射防止膜の最表層が酸化アルミニウムの結晶を含む凹凸構造を有する結晶層であり、かつ前記結晶層の一部あるいは全部がカルボン酸化合物を含有することを特徴とする光学用部材。
- 前記カルボン酸化合物が1分子あたりカルボキシル基を2つ以上有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学用部材。
- 前記カルボン酸化合物の分子内に少なくとも水酸基を1つ有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光学用部材。
- 前記基材と前記結晶層との間に中間屈折率層を有し、前記基材の屈折率nbと、前記中間屈折率層の屈折率niと、前記酸化アルミニウムの結晶を含む凹凸構造を有する結晶層の屈折率nsが、nb>ni>nsであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかの項に記載の光学用部材。
- 前記結晶層は、酸化アルミニウムのナノ構造であって、酸化アルミニウム固有の屈折率より低い見かけの屈折率が厚さ方向に変化していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4いずれかの項に記載の光学用部材。
- 基材表面に反射防止膜が形成された光学用部材の製造方法であって、
(a)基材上に酸化アルミニウムを含む酸化アルミニウム層を形成する工程と、
(b)前記酸化アルミニウム層を60℃以上100℃以下の温水と接触させて凹凸構造を有する結晶層を形成する工程と、
(c)前記結晶層上に、カルボン酸化合物および溶媒を含有する塗工液を塗布する工程と、
(d)前記塗工液の溶媒を除去する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする光学用部材の製造方法。 - 前記基材上に中間屈折率層を形成した後、前記中間屈折率層の上に酸化アルミニウムを含む酸化アルミニウム層を形成することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の光学用部材の製造方法。
