窓を有する建物に設置され、窓からの不審者の侵入を防止する防犯システムであって、前記窓の開閉若しくは前記窓に設けられた錠の施解錠を検知して当該検知結果を送信する第1防犯センサと、前記建物外の前記窓の周辺における人の存在を検知して当該検知結果を送信する第2防犯センサと、前記第1防犯センサ及び前記第2防犯センサから送信される検知結果を受信し、当該検知結果に応じて警報を行う防犯受信機とを備え、
前記第2防犯センサは、検知範囲の人の存在を検知する人検知手段と、前記人検知手段の前記検知結果を送信し且つ前記防犯受信機からの指示を受信する送受信手段と、音や光による警報を行う警報手段と、前記人検知手段が人の存在を検知した場合に前記送受信手段に前記検知結果を送信させる制御手段とを有し、
前記防犯受信機は、前記検知結果を受信し且つ前記指示を送信する送受信手段と、音や光あるいは外部への連絡などによる警報を行う警報手段と、前記送受信手段で受信する前記検知結果に基づいて警報の要否を判断し、警報が必要と判断した場合に前記警報手段に警報を行わせる制御手段と、前記制御手段を、前記警報の要否判断を行う警戒モードと前記警報の要否判断を行わない非警戒モードとに択一的に切り換える切換手段とを有し、
前記制御手段は、前記警戒モードにおいて前記第2防犯センサから人の存在を検知した検知結果を受け取った場合、前記第1防犯センサから前記窓の閉状態若しくは前記錠の施錠状態を検知した検知結果を受け取っていれば、前記警報手段に警報を行わせずに前記第2防犯センサに対して警報実行の前記指示を前記送受信手段から送信させ、一方、前記第1防犯センサから前記窓の開状態若しくは前記錠の解錠状態を検知した検知結果を受け取っていれば、前記警報手段に警報を行わせ且つ前記第2防犯センサに対して警報実行の前記指示を前記送受信手段から送信させることを特徴とする防犯システム。
