Abstract
【課題】 直列接続や並列接続の自由度が高く、組立生産性が高く、電池モジュールには保護回路基板を使用しない電池パックを提供する。
【解決手段】 安全性の高いマンガン系正極を用いたラミネート電池を採用し、保護回路基板を使用しない電池モジュール23を単位として電池パックを構成する。

Description
図4は、7直列1並列の組電池を内蔵し、保護回路基板が取り付けられている電池パックで、幅90mm×長さ210mm×厚さ70mmの大きさであった。これを4つ合わせた体積は5292cm3であった。図2に示す電池パックは、図1に示す電池モジュールが4つ実装されており、幅200mm×長さ250mm×厚さ100mmの大きさであり、体積は5000cm3であった。これより本発明の電池パックは、体積的に有利であることが確認できた。これは、4つの保護回路基板を1つにまとめたことにより体積を減らすことができたものである。
図5は、単電池を7直列2並列の組電池にして保護回路基板を取り付けた電池パックで、幅180mm×長さ210mm×厚さ70mmの大きさであった。これを4つ合わせた体積は10584cm3であった。一方、7直列2並列の組電池からなる電池モジュールが4つ実装された電池パックは、幅380mm×長さ250mm×厚さ100mmの大きさであり、体積は9500cm3であった。これより本発明の電池パックは、体積的に有利であることが確認できた。

Claims (5)
- 複数の単電池が接続されケースに収容された電池モジュール複数個と前記複数個の電池モジュールの充電放電等を一括して制御する保護回路基板を有する電池パック。
- 前記単電池がマンガン系正極、負極、及び電解液を有する発電素子を金属箔と樹脂からなるラミネートフィルムに収容してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池モジュールが前記単電池同士を隣接させ、粘着剤などで固定し、前記電池モジュールを複数個積層して並列または直列またはそれらの組み合わせで互いに接続されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池モジュールが樹脂や金属ケースに収容されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電池パック。
- 前記単電池の容量が1Ah以上、500Ah以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の電池パック。
