Abstract
【解決手段】データ入力システムで、サブグループに分かれた英文字記号と数字記号とコマンド128〜136のうちの少なくとも一つを含むデータ記号グループを備える。各サブグループは、少なくともユーザの指102〜120の一部に関連付けてある。このシステムはまた、複数のキーを画成したキーパッド126を備え、各キーが記号のうちの少なくとも一つを含む。少なくとも一つの指認識システム100が、キーに指を触れたときに指の一部を認識し、そのキーと相互作用する指の一部に関連するサブグループ記号を選択するよう構成してある。

Claims (22)
- 複数のキーを含む複数の入力手段と、
単語予測システムで使用される単語データベースと
を備え、
前記複数のキーのそれぞれには、複数の文字が割り当てられており、
前記複数の入力手段のいずれかを介して、いずれかのキーを指定する第1の入力情報を受け付け、
前記第1の入力情報を受け付けている間に、前記複数の入力手段のいずれかを介して、前記第1の入力情報によって指定されるキーに割り当てられている複数の文字のいずれかを指定する追加の入力情報を受け付け、
前記第1の入力情報および前記追加の入力情報から文字を認識し、
前記単語データベースを参照して、認識した文字に対応する単語を出力することを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項1に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記第1の入力情報は、前記複数のキーのいずれかが1回押圧されることにより入力されることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項1に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数のキーとして、4個のキーを備えることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項3に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記第1の入力情報は、前記4個のキーのいずれかが1回押圧されることにより入力されることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記追加の入力情報は、前記第1の情報の入力時に押圧されたキーとは異なるキーが押圧されることであることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項1に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数のキーは、8個以上のキーを有する電話機型のキーパッドであることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数のキーのいずれかが、1回押圧されることにより前記第1の入力情報が入力され、前記追加の入力情報の入力により、押圧されたキーに割り当てられている複数の文字のいずれかを特定することを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数の入力手段には、
ユーザの音声およびユーザの口唇の動きの少なくとも1つに基づいて検出および分析される、前記単語の中の少なくとも1つの文字に対応する発話情報の入力を受け付ける手段が含まれ、
前記発話情報によって示される情報を、前記追加の入力情報として受け付けることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項8に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記発話情報には、文字の称呼が含まれることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項8または9に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
音声による区別が難しい文字は、異なるキーに割り当てられることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数のキーは、接触感応型面上の異なる領域に配置されることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 複数のキーを含む複数の入力手段と、
単語予測システムで使用される単語データベースと
を備え、
前記複数のキーのそれぞれには、複数の文字が割り当てられており、
前記複数の入力手段のいずれかを介して、連続する複数の文字からなる単語の中の1文字を入力するための第1の入力情報を受け付け、
前記複数の入力手段のいずれかを介して、前記単語の残りの文字を入力するための第2の入力情報を受け付け、
前記第1の入力情報、前記第2の入力情報、および前記単語データベースを参照して、前記単語を予測して出力することを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項12に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記第1の入力情報は、前記複数のキーのいずれかが1回押圧されることにより入力されることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項12に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数のキーとして、4個のキーを備えることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項14に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記第1の入力情報は、前記4個のキーのいずれかが1回押圧されることにより入力されることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項12から15のいずれか一項に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記第2の入力情報は、前記第1の情報の入力時に押圧されたキーとは異なるキーが押圧されることにより入力されることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項12に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数のキーは、8個以上のキーを有する電話機型のキーパッドであることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項12から17のいずれか一項に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数のキーのいずれかが、1回押圧されることにより前記第1の入力情報が入力され、前記第2の入力情報の入力により、押圧されたキーに割り当てられている複数の文字のいずれかを特定することを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項12から18のいずれか一項に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記複数の入力手段には、
ユーザの音声およびユーザの口唇の動きの少なくとも1つに基づいて検出および分析される、前記単語の中の少なくとも1つの文字に対応する発話情報の入力を受け付ける手段が含まれ、
前記発話情報によって示される情報を、前記第2の入力情報として受け付けることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項19に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
前記発話情報には、文字の称呼が含まれることを特徴とするデータ入力システム。 - 請求項19または20に記載のデータ入力システムであって、
