Claims (14)
- 顕微外科手術用プローブであって、
内部ボアを有する、管状の本体と、
前記内部ボアに通じている、ポートと、
閉口した末端チップと
を備え、前記末端チップは、平坦な内面を備える、ことを特徴とする、顕微外科手術用プローブ。 - 前記末端チップは、平坦な外面を備える、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプローブ。
- 前記末端チップは、半径を持つ末梢部を持った、平坦な外面を備える、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプローブ。
- 前記末端チップは、面取りされた末梢部を持った、平坦な外面を備える、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプローブ。
- 前記平坦な内面によって、前記ポートの末端部が、前記外面から約0.015cm(0.006インチ)から約0.041cm(0.016インチ)の距離で配置されることができる、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプローブ。
- 前記距離が、約0.015cm(0.006インチ)から約0.028cm(0.011インチ)である、ことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のプローブ。
- 前記プローブは、眼科用顕微外科手術用プローブである、ことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のプローブ。
- 前記プローブは、硝子体切除用プローブである、ことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のプローブ。
- 前記の距離があることによって、外科医は、前記ポートを網膜のより近くに、該網膜に接触することなく、配置できる、ことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載のプローブ。
- 前記の距離があることによって、外科医は、前記ポートを標的とする組織のより近くに、該標的とする組織に接触することなく、配置できる、ことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のプローブ。
- 顕微外科手術用プローブの形成方法であって、
受座内に管状の針を配置する工程と、
前記受座と前記針を高速で回転する工程と、
球状突起を持つほぼ平坦な末端面を備えた、器具を供給する工程と、
前記針の末端部の端と前記球状突起とを接触する工程と、
前記針の末端部が閉口して、さらに、平坦な外面と平坦な内面を備えた、末端チップに形成されるように、前記器具を前記端から前記針の末端部をまたいで前記針の中心線をわずかに超えて移動する工程と、
を備える、ことを特徴とする、顕微外科手術用プローブの形成方法。 - 顕微外科手術用プローブの形成方法であって、
管状針の末端部を箔のシートに接触して配置する工程と、
前記針と前記箔に圧縮力をかける工程と、
前記箔が前記針に溶接されるように、前記針と前記箔との間に電気的衝撃を送る工程と、
前記針を押抜き金型に配置する工程と、
平坦な外面と平坦な内面を備えた、閉口した末端チップが形成されるように、前記箔を介して、前記針を押抜く工程と、
を備える、ことを特徴とする、顕微外科手術用プローブの形成方法。 - 前記針と前記箔とがステンレス鋼からなる、ことを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記箔の厚さが0.01cm(0.004インチ)である、ことを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の方法。
