Abstract
【解決手段】燃料供給装置は、吸気室と、吸気室に開口する複数の吸気通路90と、前記吸気室内における導入部と開口部との間に燃料を噴射する複数の燃料噴射器14とを備えている。前記吸気室は、前記開口部の開口面を含む仮想平面に対して交差する後壁11lを備えている。後壁11lは、下方にいくほど開口部に近づくように傾斜し、前記吸気室内の気流を吸気通路90の開口部へ案内する。前記複数の吸気通路90が並ぶ方向と直交し且つ前記仮想平面と略平行な方向から見て、前記後壁11lによって前記開口部へ導かれる空気の流れ方向と、前記複数の吸気通路90が並ぶ方向とは実質的に直交する。

図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係る車両の例を示す側面図である。本実施形態に係る車両は、自動二輪車(モータバイク、スクータ等を含む)100である。同図においては、左側が車両前方、右側が車両後方である。自動二輪車100は、空気を取り入れる取入口81と、エアクリーナ10と、エンジン21と、マフラー84とを備えている。なお、本実施形態におけるエンジン21は、水冷式4サイクル並列4気筒エンジンである。取入口81とエアクリーナ10とは、吸気ダクト82を介して接続されている。エアクリーナ10とエンジン21の燃焼室2c(図1では図示せず。図2参照)とは、吸気通路90を介して接続されている。燃焼室2cとマフラー84とは、排気通路83を介して接続されている。エアクリーナ10の内部には上流側燃料噴射器14が配置され、吸気通路90には下流側燃料噴射器13が配置されている。
本発明の第2実施形態も、エアクリーナ10の後壁によって案内される気流を積極的に形成し、エアクリーナ10内に導入された空気をより確実に吸気通路90に流入させるものである。
図7〜図9は本発明の第3実施形態を説明するための図であり、図2と同一の符号は同一又は相当する部分を示す。
図10及び図11は本発明の第4実施形態を説明するための図であり、図2及び図7と同一の符号は同一又は相当する部分を示す。本実施形態は、燃料噴射器14をエアクリーナケース11内でかつ主流の中心線Mの内側(円弧形状の中心側)に配置した例である。
Claims (7)
- 空気を導入する導入部を有する吸気室と、
前記吸気室に開口する開口部を有し、前記開口部からエンジンへ前記吸気室内の空気を案内する複数の吸気通路と、
前記複数の吸気通路が並ぶ方向に並列し、それぞれ前記吸気室内における前記導入部と前記各開口部との間に燃料を噴射する複数の噴射器と、を備え、
前記吸気室は、前記各開口部の開口面を含む仮想平面に対して交差する壁面であって、前記各開口部側にいくほど前記仮想平面の垂線に近づくように傾斜し、前記吸気室に導入された空気を前記各開口部に導く壁面を備え、
前記複数の吸気通路が並ぶ方向と直交し且つ前記仮想平面と略平行な方向から見て、前記壁面によって前記各開口部へ導かれる空気の流れ方向と、前記複数の吸気通路が並ぶ方向とは実質的に直交する、燃料供給装置。 - 空気を導入する導入部を有する吸気室と、
前記吸気室に開口する開口部を有し、前記開口部からエンジンへ前記吸気室内の空気を案内する複数の吸気通路と、
前記複数の吸気通路が並ぶ方向に並列し、それぞれ前記吸気室内における前記導入部と前記各開口部との間に燃料を噴射する複数の噴射器と、を備え、
前記吸気室は、前記各開口部の開口面を含む仮想平面に対して交差する壁面であって、前記開口部側にいくほど前記仮想平面の垂線に近づくように傾斜し、前記仮想平面と交差する部分が前記各開口部の開口中心から前記各開口部の開口直径の2倍以下の距離に位置する壁面を備え、
前記複数の吸気通路が並ぶ方向と直交し且つ前記仮想平面と略平行な方向から見て、前記壁面によって前記各開口部へ導かれる空気の流れ方向と、前記複数の吸気通路が並ぶ方向とは実質的に直交する、燃料供給装置。 - 前記壁面は、前記開口部を挟んで前記導入部と反対側に位置している、請求項1または2に記載の燃料供給装置。
- 前記吸気室には、前記開口部の上流側に位置する湾曲した空気流路が形成され、
前記壁面は、前記空気流路の湾曲中心側と反対の側に位置している、請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の燃料供給装置。 - 前記吸気室は、前記壁面よりも上流側に設けられ、前記導入部から前記開口部へ流入する第1の気流を形成する補助壁面を備え、
前記補助壁面は、前記壁面に導かれて前記開口部に流入する第2の気流に対し、前記第1の気流を前記第2の気流の方向に対向する方向から交差させる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の燃料供給装置。 - 前記各噴射器は、前記第1の気流と前記第2の気流とに挟まれた領域に燃料を噴射する、請求項5に記載の燃料供給装置。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか一つに記載の燃料供給装置を備えた車両。
