Abstract
【解決手段】ハブ輪1と複列の転がり軸受2と等速自在継手3とがユニット化されるとともに、ハブ輪1と、ハブ輪1の孔部22に嵌挿される等速自在継手3の外側継手部材の軸部12とが凹凸嵌合構造Mを介して分離可能に結合された車輪用軸受装置である。外側継手部材の軸部12の外径面とハブ輪1の孔部22の内径面37とのどちらか一方に設けられて軸方向に延びる凸部35を、軸方向に沿って他方に圧入し、他方に凸部35にて凸部35に密着嵌合する凹部36を形成して、凸部35と凹部36との嵌合接触部位38全域が密着する凹凸嵌合構造Mを構成する。凹凸嵌合構造Mは軸方向の引き抜き力付与による分離を許容する。

あり、各凸部35の凹部嵌合部位とは、図2(b)に示す範囲Aであり、断面における山形の中腹部から山頂にいたる範囲である。また、周方向の隣合う凸部35間において、ハブ輪1の内径面37よりも内径側に隙間40が形成されている。

Claims (15)
- ハブ輪と複列の転がり軸受と等速自在継手とがユニット化されるとともに、ハブ輪と、ハブ輪の孔部に嵌挿される等速自在継手の外側継手部材の軸部とが凹凸嵌合構造を介して分離可能に結合された車輪用軸受装置であって、
外側継手部材の軸部の外径面とハブ輪の孔部の内径面とのどちらか一方に設けられて軸方向に延びる凸部を、軸方向に沿って他方に圧入し、他方に凸部にて凸部に密着嵌合する凹部を形成して、凸部と凹部との嵌合接触部位全域が密着する前記凹凸嵌合構造を構成し、かつこの凹凸嵌合構造は軸方向の引き抜き力付与による分離を許容することを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - ハブ輪と外側継手部材の軸部とを、外側継手部材の軸部の軸心部に軸方向に沿って形成されたねじ孔に螺合されるボルト部材を介してボルト固定したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ハブ輪と外側継手部材の軸部とのボルト固定状態において、外側継手部材の軸部の反継手側の端面と前記ボルト部材の頭部とで挟持される位置決め用内壁をハブ輪の孔部に設けたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材は、内側継手部材が内装されるマウス部と、このマウス部の底部から突設される前記軸部とを備え、ハブ輪の端部が加締られてハブ輪に外嵌される転がり軸受の内輪に対して予圧が付与されることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材のマウス部と、ハブ輪の端部が加締られてなる加締部との間に隙間を設けたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材のマウス部とハブ輪の加締部との間の隙間を密封するシール部材を配置したことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ハブ輪と外側継手部材の軸部とのボルト固定を行うボルト部材の座面と、位置決め用内壁との間にシール材を介在させたことを特徴とする請求項2〜請求項6のいずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 外側継手部材の軸部に前記凹凸嵌合構造の凸部を設けるとともに、少なくともこの凸部の軸方向端部の硬度をハブ輪の孔部内径部よりも高くして、前記軸部をハブ輪の孔部に凸部の軸方向端部側から圧入することによって、この凸部にてハブ輪の孔部内径面に凸部に密着嵌合する凹部を形成して、前記凹凸嵌合構造を構成することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項7のいずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記圧入による凹部形成によって生じるはみ出し部を収納する収納部を、凹凸嵌合構造よりも反継手側の軸部外径側に設けたことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ハブ輪の孔部の内径面の内径寸法を、凸部の頂点を結ぶ円の最大直径寸法よりも小さく、凸部間の軸部外径面に凹部の最大直径寸法よりも大きく設定したことを特徴とする請求項8又は請求項9に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ハブ輪の孔部の内径面に前記凹凸嵌合構造の凸部を設けるとともに、少なくともこの凸部の軸方向端部の硬度を等速自在継手の外側継手部材の軸部の外径部よりも高くして、前記ハブ輪側の凸部をその軸方向端部側から外側継手部材の軸部に圧入することによって、この凸部にて外側継手部材の軸部の外径面に凸部に密着嵌合する凹部を形成して、前記凹凸嵌合構造を構成することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項7のいずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記圧入による凹部形成によって生じるはみ出し部を収納する収納部をハブ輪の孔部の内径面に設けたことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 軸孔の複数の凸部の頂点を結ぶ円弧の直径寸法を外側継手部材の軸部の外径寸法よりも小さくするとともに、凸部間の孔部内径面の内径寸法を外側継手部材の軸部の外径寸法よりも大きくしたことを特徴とする請求項11又は請求項12に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 凸部の突出方向中間部位の周方向厚さの総和を、周方向に隣り合う凸部間に嵌合する相手側の凸部における前記中間部位に対応する位置での周方向厚さの総和よりも小さくしたことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項13のいずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 凹凸嵌合構造を、前記転がり軸受の軌道面の避直下位置に配置したことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項14のいずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
