Abstract
Description

Claims (28)
- 酸素を患者の四肢に供給する局所用高気圧装置において、
内部と外部とを有する筐体であって、前記筐体は、一端で閉鎖されるとともに他端で開口され、且つ前記患者の四肢を収容する大きさ及び形状を有しており、前記筐体は、両端で共に密封された流体不浸透性材料の2枚のシートを備える折畳み式バッグによって画成されており、一方のシートの第1の側面は、前記筐体の前記外部を画成しており、他方のシートの第1の側面は、前記筐体の前記内部を画成しており、これによって、ガスが前記2枚のシート間に供給され、前記筐体を実質的に剛性の状態に膨張させ、前記筐体の内部の酸素圧力が第1の圧力と第2の圧力との間で周期的に変動するときに、前記筐体を前記実質的に剛性の状態に維持するようになっている、筐体
を備えていることを特徴とする局所用高気圧装置。 - 酸素が前記筐体から漏れるのを防ぐために、前記筐体の前記開端の近傍には、前記患者の四肢との間に接触をもたらすのに適合されたシールがさらに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記シールは、膨張性カフを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記膨張性カフは、前記筐体と一体に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記膨張性カフは、少なくとも2枚の材料シートによって画成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記シールは、ストラップを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記ストラップは、接着部を備えていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記2枚のシート間に形成された複数のポケットをさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記ポケットは、相互接続されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記ポケットは、前記2枚の材料シートの部分を互いに固着することによって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記筐体の前記内部に設けられた膨張性の枕をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記枕は、前記材料シートの1つと一体的に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記材料シートは、樹脂材料であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記樹脂材料は、ポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記シート間に形成された複数の相互接続されたポケットをさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記カフと連通する第1の流体口をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記相互接続されたポケットと連通する第2の流体口をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記筐体の前記内部と連通する第3の流体口をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記流体口は、ガス供給源に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 前記流体口は、ガスの圧力を調整する制御装置に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 局所用高気圧装置において、
流体不浸透性材料のシートを備える折畳み式バッグによって画成された主チャンバであって、前記バッグは、第1の端で密封されるとともに第2の端で開口されており、前記主チャンバは、患者の四肢を囲む大きさ及び形状を有しているような主チャンバと、
前記主チャンバの前記開口した端の近傍において前記主チャンバを前記患者の前記四肢の周囲に密封するような膨張性カフと、
ガスが第1の圧力と第2の圧力との間で周期的に変動するとき、前記主チャンバの内部が前記患者の前記四肢と接触しないように、前記折畳み式バッグを剛性状態に維持する手段と
を備えていることを特徴とする局所用高気圧装置。 - 前記折畳みバッグを剛性状態に維持する前記手段は、前記主チャンバの外部に配置された複数の膨張性の小型チャンバを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の局所用高気圧装置。
- 患者の四肢を高気圧酸素によって処理する方法において、
開端と閉端とを有する折畳み式バッグを、前記患者の四肢を収容するのに適合したチャンバを画成するように実質的に剛性の状態にするステップと、
前記患者の四肢を前記チャンバの前記開端内に挿入するステップと、
前記チャンバの内部に供給されたガスが漏れるのを防ぐために、前記チャンバを前記患者の四肢の周囲に密封するステップと、
酸素を前記チャンバの内部に第1の圧力と第2の圧力との間でパルス変動させて供給するステップであって、前記バッグは、実質的に剛性の状態に維持され、前記患者の四肢の周囲で萎縮しないようになっている、ステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記折畳み式バッグは、流体不浸透性材料の二重の層を備えており、該流体不浸透性材料の二重の層は、その間に空間を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記バッグを剛性状態にするために、ガスを前記材料シート間に供給することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項24に記載の方法。
- 複数の相互接続されたポケットが、前記材料シート間に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記チャンバを前記患者の四肢の周囲に密着するステップが、前記バッグの前記開端の近傍に配置された膨張性カフを膨張させることを含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記チャンバを前記患者の四肢の周囲に密封するステップが、一体形成されたストラップを前記患者の脚の周囲に巻き付けることを含むことを特徴とする請求項26に記載の方法。
